Lockett for Landry?

My team is still rebuilding, but has some chance to make noice next year. Weak point is WR.

Owner came to me “thinking about trading me Lockett for Landry”. I said definitely interested, and he said “ok, I’ll get back to you”

Seems like he’s just super low on Lockett / selling him to league right now.

I kind of feel Lockett is definitely better, am I missing something or I should definitely do this?

In addition, what should I add, I’m assuming he’ll find a better deal and ask for a pick or something. I feel definitely cool with giving a 3, but not a 2.. is this right?

If you can get Lockett straight up for Landry, that’s a nice W. I’d probably be willing to add up to a late 2nd even for a rebuilding team.

Landry has a better floor in theory, but I would take Lockett in a straight deal and flip him to help your rebuild after a couple big weeks.

I feel Lockett is a solid flex right now. I’m not convinced his inconsistency goes away next season, he’s def not the WR1 in Seattle anymore. And while 28 is not the oldest, he doesn’t scream “rebuild” to me. The trade itself is good value, but i hope he gets more TDs this year. Just prepare for some frustration and hope for the best
