Has top 5 upside and has been a consistent scorer at the position when healthy, but some injury questions starting to pop up and a lot of good young QBs have entered the league lately. Should be a prime target for contenders looking for a boost at QB, because he won't command a premium and has a good chance at outperforming what you gave up to get him.
Would you put him at a 2nd round value in a 1QB, or a 3rd, given his injury and the fact that he's over 30?
Good pocket passing QBs usually hit their prime around 30. I'd feel okay with paying a late 2nd/early 3rd for him if I'm competing.

I’d pay a late second for him if I wanted a qb

He's a very underrated fantasy QB and I'd put his value around a late 2nd in a 1QB league. However, I'd bet that you can get him for a 3rd during the draft when owners see players they like on the clock and rookie fever is in full effect.

I feel like I've been a definite supporter of his for a while now. He's been a QB1 most of his career, and as long as he's healthy I'd bet on him continuing to produce at a similar level. Ideally, in a 1 QB league, I'd be looking to pair him with another cheap QB for a committee approach just in case he starts having persistent health issues.

I would not pay a first, but he's worth almost any 2nd to a contender, to me.

Surprising to see him at the same value as Minshew.

Would Gardner Minshew and 3.10 (or 3.05) be enough or is that insulting?

Guy dropped stafford and picked up Minshew, so I think its a fine offer to make. Just depends on if the other guy is competing or wants youth. Stafford is a good QB.

Guy is willing to get rid of Stafford when I inquired on him. He is a new guy to the league, so I think he is wanting to go younger. He also doesn’t have any 1st or 2nd round picks, so I think he would like another 3rd. He told me to send him an offer, but I don’t want to take advantage of him, since he’s new to the league. He probably inherited the worst roster in the league, so he’s got some rebuilding to do.

Sent an offer of Minshew, 3.05, and 21 4th.

Guy is new to the league and the previous owner left him like absolutely nothing to work with. He has no 1sts or 2nds, so I think he is wanting to get as many picks as possible for this year and next. This offer may not be enough, but I think it’s a good starting point. I’m not trading 2.02 for Stafford, but I may up my offer to 21 2nd (should be late). I don’t need Stafford since I have Mahomes, but I like having depth at QB. Plus I’m not sold on Winston. The other owner seems committed to getting rid of Stafford (wants to get younger), so I thought Minshew might be a good 3rd option for him.

Stafford, Lions Parting Ways

Postby Cameron Giles » Sat Jan 23, 2021 4:30 pm

Per Schefter

Lions are engaging in trade discussions. Detroit looking at a QB with their first round pick.

There's some early rumors that Washington could be a fit.
