Yeah, Haskins is probably bad, but teams should be constantly throwing darts at the QB position.

The Steelers of all places could steer the ship straight.

i don't get all this "steelers are the right place" talk. will they teach him dancing on other teams logos? being a bitter and slef absorbed twat on twitter? threatening to retire every season and sulking after a bad game? being smug while underachieving?

Glass houses much lol.... If you gave the majority of players in the league an option of which organization to play for between them and WFT, pretty certain 99% would pick the Steelers who haven't had a losing season in like 17 years. The horrendous "Football team" aside, Steelers have long been thought of one of the most stable organizations in the NFL and really across all sports. Your obvious bias is laughable.

On the move itself, seems pretty risk free and with our current sad state at QB, why not take a free swing on a former 1st round pick? Hopefully they still look to address this with a high draft pick. The more lottery tickets the better.

I don't get why these teams even bother with obvious busts such as Rosen and Haskins. We know they're terrible. At least bring a guy in that theoretically could be good.

Otherwise there would be outcry that these guys aren't given a fair shot to prove themselves, again. People have to literally watch them crash and burn before they admit defeat. It's a no win situation.

That I can totally agree with, and think odds are very good he won't. Regardless of how good an organization may be, the player themselves have to want to change. I'd think if he doesn't show that very early on, he won't even make it to September.

I wouldn't say the Steelers are the best place for a player with problems to go or that the Steelers have some amazing "culture." However Tomlin has shown that he can do a better job than most at keeping the problems mostly in house and from getting out atleastfor awhile. Steelers have had several "problem guys." Is that because of way team is ran or because team is willing to put up with those guys. Either way it usually ends bad.

As far as Haskins goes I personally think he is a bum, straight 🗑. If Steelers don't watch out they could be 2 years away from being a dumpster fire.
