Devonta Smith going 3rd overall would be....something. Would easily be the highest drafted WR in quite some time.jenkins.math wrote: ↑Thu Jan 07, 2021 10:44 am McShay's first mock draft of the year
1) Lawrence - Jags
3) Smith - Dolphins
4) Wilson - Falcons
7) Chase - Lions
8) Pitts - Panthers
15) Fields - Pats
16) Etienne - Cards
17) Waddle - Raiders
18) Bateman - Dolphins
19) Lance - Football Team
20) Elijah Moore - Bears
21) Mac Jones - Colts
25) Olave - Jets
28) Harris - Pitt
31) Marshall Jr - Packers
But if this draft played out like this, then it would be hard not to get excited.
7 first round WRs.
5 first round QBs
2 1st round RBs
1 1st round TE
It probably won't and as others have pointed out...the Dolphins using two firsts on WRs doesn't seem logical, but overall this draft looks like a decent carryover from 2020 with more good WRs and a few RBs to round it out.
Have to wonder at this rate if there's a chance that Devonta Smith is the 1.01.
