Deal #1 is a great price if this is on the table. Harris could be the guy in New England next year, but you never know. Mixon is the guy in Cincinnati.

As a Mixon owner, I wouldn't take the first deal. Second would be more in line with value imo. I put him at a first rd pick plus. Being the 1.4 helps. I would offer that straight (no 3rd rd return) if you want to get him locked up.

I would do deal 1 but I wouldn't trade 1.04 for Mixon. Mixon has played in 51 of 64 games for his career and after 3 years of nagging injuries he is now coming off a serious one. Late first in this draft may be worth the dice roll but an early first is an overpay. 21 may not be the best draft class but the top 6 or so players should be far better than Mixon.

Mixon owner as well. Frustrated Mixon owner at that. The 1.04 would be enough for me to consider the deal.

Mixon is a good buy low candidate. Cincy has had O line issues for years, but with all the crap they’ve taken for failing to protect Burrow, that regime knows they’ll lose their jobs if they don’t address that issue. Mixon should benefit from that.

Don’t think that first offer will get it done, but the 2nd offer might. Pick values will only increase as the draft gets closer though, so maybe gauge the other owner’s interest in 1.04, but hold the pick until closer to your draft.

I wouldn't send the 1.04 for Mixon personally. Mixon has struggled so he should be cheap. I'd rather reroll with one of the top 4 rookies rather than buy a struggling, but super talented, RB who will be 25 before he plays another snap.

I was a frustrated Mixon owner who moved him this past season. I wouldn’t have accepted deal 1, though it’s great for you if you can get that deal done. I would see 1.04 as a smash accept for the current Mixon owner and definitely wouldn’t pay that for him.

Does the Mixon owner have other solid starting RBs? If so, maybe the 2nd deal with the 1.04 will get it done. If Mixon is one of the top RB on his team, he will likely hold and hope Cin with Burrow takes a big leap next year.

I don’t think buying a second contract RB going into year 5 is a great move. Especially an RB that just had a mysterious and serious season ending foot injury. I traded Mixon this past offseason for Akers and a 2021 1st this past offseason so his value has already dropped a fair bit. I understand the allure but why trade a 1st and lose 5 years in age/production with the trade?

If you can acquire Mixon for 1.11+Harris, its a no-brainer even if you aren't that high on him. Though I expect the Mixon owner will want that 1.04 at least. I would pass on giving up the 1.04 though. I've been as high on Mixon as anyone, and its possible he could bounce back in 2021 after Burrow returns, but I got out this year and have not looked back.
