Team in need of a RB

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Team in need of a RB

Postby Krissi24 » Wed Dec 30, 2020 6:06 am

12 Team 0.5 PPR starting QB, 2RB, 4WR, TE, FLEX

My roster (Starters)
QB: Burrow, Big Ben
RB: Mixon, Drake, Melvin Gordon, Mostert
WR: Michael Thomas, Diggs, Woods, Chark, Beasley, Bourne
TE: Waller, Tonyan, Njoku

21 picks: 1.12, 2.01, 3.02, 3.06, 4.07

I actually made the finale this year, but with Mixon, Mostert and Thomas on IR I didn't really stand a chance against Kamara and Adams.

I am as everybody else now looking forward to the new season and would like some advice on my team and the future. I know I am in need of RB(s), but who should I target and which moves should I make.

I have two offers on the table, but I am not sure I am too thrilled about any of them.
Offer 1:
Get Josh Jacobs + 22 2nd
Give Michael Thomas

Offer 2:
Get Saquon Barkley
Give Michael Thomas and Darren Waller

I would really appreciate comments and advice. Thanks
Happy new year to all of you

Your team is in an interesting spot because of the starting requirements. First off, I would pass on both trades with having to start four wr's. In order to land a RB, I think you will have to eat into your wr depth unfortunately however. I would see if there are any slightly more affordable RB options that can help for Woods or Chark. If you were to move Thomas or Diggs, I would consider retooling a bit.

12 Team 0.5 PPR starting QB, 2RB, 4WR, TE, FLEX

My roster (Starters)
QB: Burrow, Big Ben
RB: Mixon, Drake, Melvin Gordon, Mostert
WR: Michael Thomas, Diggs, Sutton, Woods, Chark, Beasley, Bourne
TE: Waller, Tonyan, Njoku

I just traded for Courtland Sutton. I gave 1.12, 2.01 and 3.02. That was a good deal, which I think was too good a price to pass on.

Just got two offer in my inbox:

1.
Give: Waller and Michael Thomas
Get: Barkley and Robby Anderson

2.
Give: Chark
Get: Gibson, 2.12 and 22 2nd

Should I take one of the offers?

I like the Sutton deal, nice value with big upside there. I would make the Gibson deal. This helps you at RB and allows you to keep Thomas in the process. I'm not a huge Chark fan but I think you are winning that deal big time.
