Buying in SPFLX? Where would you put his value right now, before the game?

Hes clearly better than Foles, but as it stands today, he is not the future in Chicago. Sorry for you Bears fans, but I'm not sure it matters who your QB is until some other decisions are made.

I think he will get some opportunities somewhere, but would prefer him sitting behind an older vet to learn. Pit, tampa, indy, no. All four organizations are light years ahead of chicago.

He's not a stud or even on the Stafford level, but I'd take him over Goff, Newton and Smith/Haskins, as examples. He may not be a team's dream starting QB, but I can definitely see him getting signed as one.

Depending on the price in a superflex, I'd buy.

I’m not saying this will happen but trubisky reminds me of tannehill as far as career arcs go. Both only started 1 year of college and were drafted early 1st round, both had plus athleticism, both didn’t perform well with 1st team and the extra years of maturity and working on his game worked well for tannehill. I don’t think the bears have done trubisky many favours with the play calling and support but I think I’m a run heavy system using RPOs and short quick hitters plus 8-10 runs a game he can be effective.

You mean the QB with the same amount of wins as Deshaun Watson with a better winning percentage?!?!

But yeah, with the Bears making the playoffs it might be tough to find his replacement in the 1st round so I suspect he will have one more year to prove whether or not he is an NFL QB.

I do like the Tannehill comparison.

I think Goff is Stafford like and would take him over Trubisky all day but yeah Trubisky over the other options. Don't let him fool you though, he's a QB2 at best

I dislike the Tannehill comparison. Tannehill was clearly better in my opinion, a low-level franchise QB who went from a bad situation to a very good one that doesn't ask him to do too much.

I don't disagree that Trubisky is decent-ish, but he's not good enough. Chicago may be forced to keep him in the QB competition because of their draft spot, but there's not really much of a need to "see what they have in him" at this point. He has consistently held this (otherwise very good) team back the last couple seasons.

He was benched for a reason, and a few good games don't change the past two years of bad games.

I bought him for Jarvis Landry if that helps at all. People are willing to sell.
