Year in Review. How to keep winning?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

For a 12 team league, your team is in great shape. You are solid up and down your roster. TE is the only position to upgrade, but there are only three that matter. Nice build, keep it rolling for another run.

Biggest hole is TE for me, and by a decent margin. If the team with kelce or waller is not a contender I'd make offers there. I'd also look to sell ertz though you may have to wait to see if he gets moved somewhere. Your team is in such a good position that if you could move the 1.02 or the 1.02+ for kelce/kittle/waller I would strongly consider it.

Yeah I’m starting to think that might be the move but then I again I won without a good TE. Torn.

Nothing says you can't win without a good TE, but why not make it easier on yourself and get a top 3 TE? This year kelce was an absolute stud (as always) but he basically had 2x as many points as every other TE except for waller. That essentially means that if you had kelce and were going up against another team without waller, you got to start 2TEs and your opponent started 1TE.

It all comes down to the price to acquire one of them top TEs. If it makes sense I would do it, if it would cost too much I wouldn't

I tried my late first plus Ertz or Engram and another small piece for the top tight ends but guess that’s not enough

Yea there is noway you get Kittle for late 1st and Ertz/Engram.. Can you trade Zeke straight up for Kittle... I would do that and then with 1.02 grab best RB on board. Only TE I like in your group is Tonyan for future.

I would also put Evans on the block to move him, that is just where I would start see other things also...

So maybe an overpay is in order. If you could hold your 1.02 and still add a top TE, you’re in great shape. Why not 1.12 and Evans while throwing in Ertz or Engram as a sweetener? The “small piece” didn’t work, but the Evans overpay isn’t outrageous. And you’d still be able to add a top rookie to keep the build going.

I would stay the course. Tonyan is legit, and like you, I often win titles without a top 3 TE. Also, I'd rather have to choose between keeping Evans or Lamb on the bench, rather than trading Evans to someone else's lineup.

I would probably target a top RB at 1.02, and possibly a top qb at 1.12 - I'd be concerned about my future backup qb with an aging Roethlisberger, and lacking confidence in Jones.

Anyway, congrats, and good luck.

I would look to sell Zeke regardless. If you can't use him in a deal for Kittle, I would target an RB like Jacobs/Sanders/Dobbins and maybe ask for a little on top.

Thanks for the input guys. Last thing for this team. If I keep my picks, I’ll need to cut two. Which players would you feel comfortable cutting?

I'd probably cut the philly wideouts. Dont see it getting better for them in the next year. Watkins, Hightower, or Fulgham.

You don’t like any of them aye? I figured one might stick but with Hurts’ limitations as a passer

A couple things to consider:

Trade Zeke: In a PPR, start 1 RB league, I might see what I can get for Zeke. Seems the community is split 50/50 on if he's dust. If I can find an owner that will give 2 firsts for Zeke, maybe throw in a young WR on top (Mims, Viska, Pittman) I'd try to make that deal.

Draft Pitts: This isn't a TE premium league from what I can tell, so I wouldn't worry too much about not having a TE. Maybe draft Pitts at 1.12 if he goes to a good spot? Sure, maybe an overpay, but if he's Top 5 in a year or two, that would be great for your squad.

Love where this team's at. Keep it rollin'.

Thanks for the input. You’re correct it’s not TE premium
