1.01 trade - 2 part question

For my team in the my signature. I own the 1.01, 1.05, 1.07 in 2021 along with three 2nd round picks. In 2022 I have three 1sts and three 2nds.

My question is the guy with the 1.02 wants to move up to draft Travis Etienne. What is a reasonable ask on top of the 1.02? He also won the losers bracket and has the 1.13

Who knows how the draft will shake out, but is it worth it or should I wait to see if The fever hits and I can get a sold vet?

How confident are you that he'll take Etienne?

I think that's an appropriate price to move down. I'd look at it as a free 1.13 because Etienne isn't my 1.01.

While I agree in general when you always say to wait, I think that’s generally the right move, I do think it’s worth listening especially if someone is targeting a specific guy and wants to move up 1 spot. See if they’ll overpay now, if etienne goes to bad landing spot he won’t be interested later (for example Phili who supposedly wanted dobbins last year).

See if they’ll overpay now, if etienne goes to bad landing spot he won’t be interested later (for example Phili who supposedly wanted dobbins last year).

That is also a good way to look at this if you don't want to gamble on landing spot causing an issue. I think the early picks gain value every year but landing spot can hurt specific players if the owner interested wants instant production.

Idk I’d take the free pick and treat it as you had the 1.02 all along. Harris Hubbard Williams there too. Best WR. If he has another first or player you like wait or try that. Otherwise that back2back at the end might be real nice for you

Think of how high CEH's value went when KC drafted him, he hasn't been a top rb this season, but pre season / pre rookie draft's his value sky rocketed. So I'd wait, tell him your open to a deal, but I wouldn't do anything yet, unless he totally overpays for the pick.

BUT, think about where you'd be if you took this trade and ended up with Taylor instead of CEH and added an extra late 1st that probably would have turned into one of these impressive young WR.

I also think Harris would be my 1.01. I honestly would hold until we know landing spots. If Harris somehow gets drafted by Pittsburgh you likely missed out on him, wait just in case your guy becomes the consensus number one

I'd wait until closer to draft day, but would gladly move down for that 1.13. I dont see any of the 2021 RBs as sure hits, so picking up extra assets is a win.
