Which QB is best to take into the offseason?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Which QB is best to take into the offseason?

Postby esulek80 » Tue Dec 15, 2020 4:15 pm

My league has a requirement where every team must carry at minimum 3 QBs at all times. This season I ended up trading Herbert for what has now ended up becoming a 2021 4th overall pick.

With Mahomes as my QB1 I'm not overly worried but I do need to focus a bit more on my QB position now that Wentz who is my QB2 has been benched.

I could look to draft another QB in the 2021 draft but for the time being I ask which of these QBs would be the best to carry into the offseason as my #3 (and if possible a brief note on why)? Thanks!

Love
Haskins
Trubisky
Stidham
Mullens
Eason

I would hold Love and see if he develops based on the options available since you don't really need him. I think Wentz will start somewhere next year even if it's not Philadelphia.

Trubisky would be my choice. He could finish strong this year.

Why are people saying Trubisky? He doesn't seem like a guy who's going to be a starter anywhere next year. I'd go with Love because I know he'll get a chance to start at some point, and his upside is significantly higher than any of those guys. I'd prefer Haskins and Stidham over Trubisky. I see a clearer path to starting games in 21 with those guys.

If you have Mahommes, I'd shoot for the moon with Love. None of those other WR's seem to have any real long term or trade value. If Love hits, you could sell him for a kings ransom.

Trubisky, I actually just picked him up last week. Rest of his season looks good other than week 17.

I like Trubisky. Actually would be the best option if Mahomes goes down. God forbid.

Love because the rest blow and love we don’t know 🤷‍♂️ Trubisky 2nd, wouldn’t want any of the rest in a 1qb league.
