Out of contention. Traded Julio for Chark. Thoughts?

Team 2 in sig. Injuries killed me this year, so at 10-14 and out of contention, I traded Julio to the first place team for Chark. I originally asked for his 1st, but he was on the fence, so I asked for Chark instead and he went for it. I was a little concerned about making the deal since I also own Shenault and the Jags’ offense isn’t one I feel great about being overly invested in, but hopefully Lawrence or Fields can make them both relevant. Worst case, I feel like I kinda hedged a bet at least.

Thoughts on this deal? Was I too eager to get out from under Julio? I feel like if Dak, Kelce and my four stud RBs can stay healthy next year, I still have a solid chance at returning to the title game if I can just find a couple WRs with a pulse.

Seems like a fine deal, both are in similar tiers.

Long term, Chark has longer value and upside due to age. As a none contender, I think this is good value as Jones value will continue to decrease.

I think it’s a fine trade. Even if you lost on a little bit of current value by next year you will have made it up, and obviously a great long term trade

Me too, tbh. That’s what scared me. I reached out to all the likely playoff teams. Asked for Fuller and got turned down. The ones that had their 1st didn’t want to trade them for him. Tried packaging him without success.

I traded for him last season and he helped me win the belt, but I didn’t want to be the one holding the hot potato when the wheels fall off for good.

I'm surprised you got Chark for Julio. Solid trade imo. I think Chark will have another QB next year, and at a minimum this should give him a value boost in the off season if you want to pivot to something else this off season.
