I’m bumping the top 4 qb’s to the first round for my league’s draft. QB panic is rampant...

I’m eyeing TE Pitts, QBs Wilson and Jones, and RB Pooka with the approx 14th and 24th picks...
Unless you know something that I don’t, Pooka is probably a flier pick. Late in drafts/undrafted.
No, probably not, I don’t watch college football. But I read things, watch the clips. I thought i was sensing more out of this guy. Guess it’s still a ways off, and landing spot and all, just speculating. Maybe Pooka is someone I can eye with my early 3rd...

Minnesota WR Rashod Bateman opts back out of the remainder of the season after an outbreak on the team caused this past weeks game vs Wisconsin to be canceled. Bateman originally opted out when the Big-10 season was initially postponed and came back when they decided to hold the season afterall.

My personal article on Wallace. Can also be seen on Drafttek

Thank you for that--very well written and broken down

Seems to be a relatively safe player even if lacking in ridiculous upside

Like to get guys like that in the 2nd

Athletic released their first NFL mock draft today:

1) Lawrence - Jets
2) Zach Wilson - Jags
6) Fields - Panthers
7) Chase - Eagles
8) Lance - Football Team
11) Waddle - Dolphins (via Texans)
15) Pitts - Pats
19) Devonta Smith - Giants
29) Bateman - Packers
31) Mac Jones - Saints
32) Etienne - Steelers

Wilson over Fields was surprising (to me at least).
If Etienne goes to the Steelers he will be the consensus 1.01 in 1QB leagues assuming Conner is gone.
Pitts to the Pats would have everyone talking about "well how high would you have taken Gronk in rookie drafts had you known...".

Great scenarios for Fields, Lance and Jones

Agree about Etienne, he could easily be a 1.2 or 1.3 even in SF

Trying to keep up with QBs Wilson, Trask, Jones for my SF leagues. All 3 seem to be playing really well. Any chance all 3 leap-frog Lance? With Lawrence, Fields, Lance, Wilson, Trask, and Jones, how many go in the 1st?

Good chance Wilson has already passed Lance, some even have him over Fields. I could see all 6 of those guys going in the 1st round, because of the value of the 5th year option and getting that extra year of control and cost certainty. I would say there will be a minimum of 4 QBs going in the 1st round with Lawrence/Fields as locks, Wilson right behind them and Lance as a probable.

Edit: this was for the NFL Draft, as for SF rookie drafts I would guess 3-4 go in rookie drafts.

LSU WR Terrace Marshall opts out of the remainder of the season. LSU has been a disaster this year but he's been excellent, could be in the 1st round conversation.

As the owner of the likely 2021 1.03 I couldn't be less thrilled in a standard PPR league. After ETN and Chase, the next prospect I'm excited about is Pitts. I want nothing to do with Waddle or Rondale Moore or Devonta Smith with a high first round pick. Bateman I'm interested in, but is he a high 1st worthy pick?

Regarding some of the QBs, shouldn't Justin Fields be the top ranked fantasy QB? Had recent history taught us nothing? The athletic QBs with solid passing ability and strong arms are fantasy gold. If they can actually develop into a quality passer, they'll be a true stud. Lawrence is mobile, but not to the extent Fields is.

Lawrence runs just fine, 70 yard TD vs Ohio States 1st round pick filled defense in the CFP more than demonstrated that, and he had more attempts, yards and a better YPC than Fields last year. Mahomes has no problem being the undisputed #1 QB in fantasy despite not piling up big numbers on the ground, Lawrence can run more than well enough for fantasy.

You want no part of some of the better WR's we've seen in college in recent years, and yet you're excited to take a rookie TE? And you're saying your league is standard, non-TE boosted?

That's a weird take, mango.
