This update is not consistent with a torn ligament. If he had a torn ACL or Achilles, they would already know (or at least strongly suspect) that was the case.

I think the fact that they havent come out with anything is good news. While yes the x-ray would show tissue damage, the medical staff should run an MRI if they arent as incompetent as the rest of the panther's organization. and the fact that they havent ruled him out for their next game after the bye leads me to believe there is nothing major.

If it was Achilles, we would already know. Just a matter of what kind of and how severe his sprain is

Yeah ... if it was a rupture they can tell on the spot w/o an X-ray or MRI.

It's the exact same "explanation" every player that pops positive has, he wouldn't have a case and would probably be counter-sued. It's on him.

Yes ... it’s still Week 12 game.

Waivers will just be delayed until Thursday or Friday.
