J.K. Dobbins 1.01?

I didn't see the game so hoping someone who watched can chime in so I don't become a box score dummy. Saw dobbins had 15 carries, for 70 yards and a TD. Meanwhile Edwards and Ingram combined for 5 carries on 8 yards. Ravens offense still dysfunctional, but do we finally at least not have an RB committee of death to all?

Also started a thread here as I couldn't find one dedicated to Dobbins. I probably just suck with the search feature tho.

As you said, it's still dysfunctional and I don't see it getting better this year. That offence is just a mess all around. On top of that, Harbaugh is extremely stubborn, always has been. While Dobbins is clearly the best RB on that team and appears to be the lead back finally, it's still hard to trust that Harbaugh will give him enough carries to succeed. Jackson runs a lot too so chances will be limited as it is. I just don't see him being startable this year unless you're desperate

Both Swift & Dobbins should be starting without limitations if their blitz pickup skills are solid.

It's a good sign for both of these guys, and Dobbins especially. He had a great game, got small in tight spaces, made defenders miss, etc. He looked great.

Watched the whole game (and every Ravens game as that's my team). Edwards started and had a few decent carries. Dobbins was mixing in. Ingram I think only had 1 carry and did nothing. He's been the worst of the 3 all year, with Gus usually being the better dive player and Dobbins being more explosive and easily he best pass catcher.

Ravens were in the RZ and Lamar switched up the play. Looked an RPO where he wanted to hand off to Gus and Gus didn't take it (nor did he even sell the fake). I don't think he touched the ball the rest of the game and it was all Dobbins.

Dobbins picked up nice chunks. A couple 8 and 10 yard runs... It is TEN though. Then he got the goal line TD and the 2 pt Reception.

He's easily the best RB, but it will be interesting to see if they give him 50+% of the touches. If they give him the bulk, I don't see why he couldn't be at least a RB2 ROS

I think that NE game was an anomaly due to weird game script and weather, and the ~15 touches a game will be the norm.

He is working his way into being the lead of this committee. He's clearly their most rounded, most talented back.

More importantly, 63% this week with Ingram and Edwards healthy. Hopefully this usage continues. He has looked great all year.

The plan going into the game yesterday was definitely NOT to make Dobbins the man. He was either the 3rd or the 4th RB to even enter, as Justice Hill came in before Dobbins and Ingram was very much who Harbaugh tried to make the frontrunner.

Dobbins looked fantastic tho - I really hope they make him the 60% guy, and give Edwards and the other 2 scraps.
