Asking for another owner who came to me for advice. He was offered a mid 2nd for Cooks. He's rebuilding so cooks doesn't really help him this year or next. Is a 2nd enough, or should we be looking for a 1st?
Half ppr, 12 man, super flex.

Re: Brandin Cooks for 2nd?
Try to package him with a 2nd for a late 1st is possible but if not then a mid 2nd is reasonable value for a rebuilding squad.

Re: Brandin Cooks for 2nd?
i'd want something more, early second or some other makeweight on top of the mid 2nd, unless i was looking at a 3-year rebuild: he is a top wide receiver, with a great QB. his only problem are concussions, which are flukey. i think he's being undervalued slightly: if it wasn't for the scrambled brains potential he'd be worth a mid first easily.

Re: Brandin Cooks for 2nd?
A mid 2nd for Cooks is probably the best offer he will get. If he is rebuilding I would take it.

Mid 2 in a SF is pretty close in value by my rankings. I don't think anyone beats it for him at this point

Re: Brandin Cooks for 2nd?
I don't think you're ever going to get a 1st for Cooks, so a 2nd seems fair. I'd try to see if you can get a 3rd or some other player you like thrown in on top.
Re: Brandin Cooks for 2nd?
This is no doubt selling low, but Cooks is just one of those players who will always be undervalued. Like others have stated above, you'll never get a 1st so I'd pull the trigger here.

Re: Brandin Cooks for 2nd?
It stinks because hes been really good this year.
Like WR10 in the 6 games since BOB was canned but everyone is right its super unlikely that you get a 1st for him even if he keeps it up.
Hes not old so you dont NEED to move him in a rebuild if you arnt getting fair value. With the head injury risk id probably pull the trigger but i wouldnt like it

Re: Brandin Cooks for 2nd?
Keep Cooks. His production is worth way more than a 2nd. You don't have to trade good players just because you're rebuilding. Cooks is still just 27 and his value will increase each game he plays.
