Trying to acquire DK

So I recently acquired Aiyuk, and really like the kid, but it just dawned upon me to try and use Chark, Aiyuk, and maybe a 1st to get DK Metcalf.

Now I know DK is absolutely dominant, and I've been on Chark since his rookie year when no one believed. Do we think this is a fair offer, I kinda feel like its a bit much, but good at the same time. What do we think?

I mean I think thats a pretty fair price for DK. Im a DK owner in a few leagues and I would put some thought into the offer.

I'd chat with the DK owner, tell him your interested in DK and start out with Chark and Aiyuk, say how close are these to too acquiring DK? He may tell you that DK is untradeable, he may take this offer and run if he's high on Chark / Aiyuk, etc. A lot will come down to his roster, if he's competing at all he will probably reject it, even in a rebuild he may reject it with DK's age, but if that is his only player he may say, two for one, I'll take it.

It looks like it could happen on paper, but I don't think it has a chance.
Chark and fallen off...Ayiuk is benefiting from everyone else being hurt and who is his QB going to be?....and the 1st isn't that enticing unless it has a chance a 1.01.
I know the other owner may see this differently, so it's worth sending out. I just don't see anything here that would make me pull the trigger to give up DK.

I don't think that's nearly enough, you'll have to give up a top tier asset along with a pick for DK. Outside of Dalvin and picks I don't think you have enough to get him. This could vary wildly from league to league of course, the owner in my league labeled him "priceless" and I don't blame him one bit. It would probably take my Saquon to open discussions.

It's fair but it may or may not be enough. Good place to start and see if it gets a conversation going. If it's a rebuilding team with no assets, getting a haul like this could jump start a rebuild. If its a competitor, I doubt it would make sense for them.

Also, if people are valuing him at 4+ firsts these days, it may not be a terrible time to shop him as an owner. I get he's a stud, but championships aren't won by holding a single stud. One of the DK owners in my leagues has an absolutely garbage team, basically nothing but DK. He refuses to sell DK which means he likely will never improve his team as he has no assets to flip.

Not enough for DK. Look you're trying to give him 3 pieces for 1 piece. you need to overpay on production/total value to do that.

Do I think its a bad opening offer? no, but certainly not something I would consider selling DK for.

Honestly, as a Metcalf owner I wouldn't do it. Having that locked in WR1 at age 22 is just too valuable. That's one spot in my lineup I dont have to worry about for 10 years. He's the Saquon of WRs. The "generational talent". If I'm a contender I need another good win now piece with a draft pick tacked on. If I'm rebuilding I'm holding. I think DK is a really tough buy right now.
