Chubb vs Dobbins
What’s the value difference between Chubb and Dobbins? I just acquired Chubb for team 2 and 6-1. Was immediately contacted by Dobbins owner.
DTC calc has Chubb low at 35 but Dobbins only at 19 cause he hasn’t popped. 2021 3rd and Peolple Jones? (Owner has no 1st or 2nd in 21) Would love to have Jacobs, Swift and Dobbins.
Thoughts?

Agreed. He hasn’t looked good this week. Could almost flip Chubb for Zeke it Gibson + picks. Or keep him

Re: Chubb vs Dobbins
Dobbins and an early 1st would get me thinking. But the main attraction to me would be the early 1st. If Dobbins doesn't get a large share of the workload this week, then he may be looking at being a committee back for a while.

No way owner includes 1st. He “says” he values Chubb and Dobbins same. I’d CONSIDER for a 3rd, Z. Moss, and DPJ. Don’t love it though.
Would rather move Chubb for a young RB and WR piece

Re: Chubb vs Dobbins
I have both, but if your'e a contender it's Chubb. Love JK, but he hasn't proven anything yet. Those other players don'e move the needle. Since he contacted you, you set the terms. Tell him you'r fine riding Chubb after his bye with your contending team. If he want him, the terms are Dobbins and a future first (Or whatever your terms are). Tell him you'd "consider" throwing a third back. If he doesn't like it, no Chubb. (insert joke here)Badgersfan222 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 2:05 pmNo way owner includes 1st. Re: Chubb vs Dobbins
Not sure why everyone is so down on Dobbins.
Call me crazy, but I don't think I'm alone, I drafted Dobbins fully expecting 2020 to be a redshirt year. All I wanted to see was him flash some big play ability at the pro level - which he has more than done - and expect him to be the starter heading into 2021.
I get that Chubb likely helps you more this year, but I'm not sure that's a foregone conclusion given the injuries to both Chubb and Ingram.
Considering that Dobbins is 3 years younger with a much cleaner bill of health, I don't see any reason why Chubb should be valued more than Dobbins.

To each his own and I am definitely not trying to persuade you, but..... I think what has people a little cautious is... 1 that the Ravens offense has not been as efficient as last year. 2 if you take away his 2 big runs his YPC is very low. 3. This committee might be here to stay.kmbryant09 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 8:11 pm Not sure why everyone is so down on Dobbins.

Re: Chubb vs Dobbins
This is the situation where you value your guy more. If I had Chubb, I would want more added. And the Dobbins owner drafted him knowing this year would not produce much. ( Like the above post....redshirt) Personally, I would prefer dobbins over Chubb.

Re: Chubb vs Dobbins
I love Dobbins, but on a contending team, it's Chubb. Dobbins hasn't proven anything yet, despite my belief in him. Chubb has been a 5.0 plus YPC back since he stepped on an NFL field. As a 6-1 team, Chubb for the next 2 years easily over Dobbins. The other guy came to him. Chubb is a freak athlete, and could play well into his late 20's. He's one of, if not the best pure runners in the game. There are many reasons why he's valued more than Dobbins, and those are a few. I love JK, but I'm not moving Chubb on my 6-1 team (I have the same scenario) or Dobbins straight up. Makes no sense.kmbryant09 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 8:11 pm Not sure why everyone is so down on Dobbins.

Yeah. I admit its kinda lame. But it is something that bothers me, whether it bothers anyone else or not I couldn't say. It ust worries me that a little over half his yards came on 2 carries.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sun Nov 01, 2020 12:42 amI am fully aboard the Chubb side, he's worth more to a contender, but this is the worst argument vs any RB.PBFalcon wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 9:11 pmTo each his own and I am definitely not trying to persuade you, but..... Definitely not an argument to stand on, but it keeps we wondering why, nevertheless..

Three years of age while yes is significant isn't enough to make me move off a proven stud who's shown that his floor in a full blow committee is a low rb1 for a guy who
Isn't proven
Is also in a committee until further notice
Hasn't looked exceptional but has shown glimpses
And is significantly less useful for a contender

Re: Chubb vs Dobbins
Here’s the offer currently: (team 2)
I send: Chubb & Edwards
I receive: Dobbins, Z. Moss, & 2021 3rd
I still don’t love it. Was thinking of countering:
I send: Chubb, Edwards & 2021 2nd
I receive: Dobbins, Z. Moss, & 2021 1st
I feel like if I can’t get the counter above, it’s not worth it as I’m paying top dollar for Dobbins assuming he’s going to get the Chubbs level soon. Thoughts? Being greedy?
I send: Chubb & Edwards
I receive: Dobbins, Z. Moss, & 2021 3rd
I still don’t love it. Was thinking of countering:
I send: Chubb, Edwards & 2021 2nd
I receive: Dobbins, Z. Moss, & 2021 1st
I feel like if I can’t get the counter above, it’s not worth it as I’m paying top dollar for Dobbins assuming he’s going to get the Chubbs level soon. Thoughts? Being greedy?
