Hi. I have watched him a lot. He is very good. He pops on tape this year. Super smooth in every aspect. I actually just got him + a 2nd for Mike Evans and am happy about it. I think my trade was more of a gamble on this week in particular: if Evans gets 5-6 targets again and turns in another non-startable game with Godwin out, and Fulgham gets 10+ targets again, the trade might not be able to happen next week. I have lost confidence in Evans since early last year, and like to have "fresh meat" To the new Evans owner: enjoy.

Risky but good luck. Evans value is probably at it's all time low. He and BA both admitted he's been playing hurt, even now only at 80% for week 8. I'd be shocked if his production and value don't recover at least a little bit. If not, a 2nd and Fulgham may look pretty good down the road.

In another league, I just completed a trade Gallup for Fulgham. Wildly different values, but I am trying to acquire right now haha

Value there seems closer. I just think people too quickly forget that the start to Evans career is hall of fame worthy. 6 straight 1k+ seasons.

Less meaty but I've seen the skill strengths and weaknesses when he plays. Interesting D Parker comparison- https://syndication.bleacherreport.com/ ... k.amp.html

We all know Fulgham has short term opportunity and potential long term opportunity. Seems people aren't examining his skills/talents to see if he's a long term play. I know some people blasted or dismissed others for takings stands on guys like Ronald Jones. I'd prefer seeing more of that, even if the analyses are wrong, than discussions about players without evaluating their skills/talents like what's happening here.
He's got good size, above average athleticism and a massive catch radius. He excels in contested catch situations and looks to have developed a considerable knack for sitting in the soft spots in zone coverage. Route running is significantly improved from his rookie year and the potential for further development is certainly there given his late start to football. Given the way PHI has moved him all over the field, it appears he also has a versatile skillset. I could see him excelling as a big slot guy once Reagor is back.

He's got a smoothness to his game reminiscent of a poor man's Kenny G.
He reminds me of Alshon.

I don’t think a savvy owner would trade for less. If I were trading Fulgham I don’t even think it would even be feasible to trade Fulgham in a deal for Evans right now. Ones value and role is rising and the others vale and role are falling. It’s risky, but it’s one of those deals that by the time it’s not, the opportunity is gone.

I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone. Fulgham/2nd for Evans is a terrible deal. I get trying to be ahead of the curve, but that deal is a tremendous value hit. It's not like he's that much younger, either. 25 to Evans' 27.

No way I could bring myself to sell Evans for that. However, as a serious contender, I am thinking about floating an offer of OBJ to the Fulgham owner who is about one loss away from calling it a season anyway.

It's definitely practical to trade Fulgham for Evans, because Evans has a longer history of production and is the better player. Sure, he's off to a slow start, but he's been so ridiculously good, that it's not damning.

I just don't see a large amount of Evans owners making that deal. It's a really bad trade.

Its a tremendous value hit because it’s reflective of the value hit Evans has taken.....he’s not just off to any ole slow start. He has posted career lows in multiple games.

5-6 targets per week average (range has been 2-10 so pretty inconsistent week to week)
3-4 catches per week average (range has been 1-7 so, again, pretty inconsistent)
45 Ypg average ( 3 games 10 yards or fewer, 2 games 100+ yards)

All that being said he is now in a mix of Godwin, AB, Gronk, Scotty Miller, RoJo, and Fournette

and while I don’t personally think AB is going to have a crazy huge impact until down the stretch and into the post season, I still think that Fulgham based on situation and volume will pace or outproduce Evans this year. I don’t even think that’s much of a gamble considering Fulgham is averaging almost 20 PPG to Evans’ 13.5 PPG atm.

I'm with you. These Fulgham truthers are frickin nuts, and that Evans deal is god-awful.

Sure, let's sell a 6x Pro Bowler with 6x 1000 yard seasons who is clearly playing hurt for a 6th round WR whose already been cut by two teams - and is only popping because everyone else on his team is dead or injured. What's that, he's already 25 and had done nothing in his career prior to this point? Oh man, EVEN BETTER... where do I sign up...

This is dynasty... Chess, not Checkers... no doubt I'll be told to stop living in the past... I say stop being a prisoner of the moment.

I think Fulghams the real deal but I would happily swap him for Evans. I dont have him though, I wonder if the Evans owner in my league is this down on him.

I need to start floating my Fulgham shares out there. So far the best offer I've had is a 3rd, and for that I'll happily hang on.

That's a weird way to evaluate a trade for the long-term though. It's not really about points right now and situation right now. The fact is, Evans has a HOF start to his career for a WR. Six straight 1000+ yard seasons and he's been elite. He didn't just lose talent or skill all of a sudden.

Fulgham has been good for four games and he's only two years younger than Evans. A special set of circumstances contributed to Fulgham's rise, and to his credit he's seized it.

It's just an unnecessary trade. If you really wanted Fulgham, you wouldn't have to trade a piece like Evans to get a deal done. It's selling really low and feels like a redraft deal.
