Higgins for Sanders + 1st

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Higgins for Sanders + 1st

Postby NanceUSMC » Tue Oct 27, 2020 12:34 pm

Have an owner inquiring about Higgins from me... Right now, the offer is at Miles Sanders plus a late 1st (likely 8/9/10)...

On the surface, I'm tempted to do this, as my WR corps is young and fairly full of promise, and my RB corps is in shambles after the release of Leveon and Fournette... But, that could obviously change depending on where Bell and LF end up this offseason...

My hesitation is, of course, the same hesitation that we would all have... just how good will Higgins be? AJ Green in his prime good? or a WR 2-3 good?

And... What's the long term value of Sanders? RB1? RB2? Flex?

Anybody have a working crystal ball I could use? My Magic 8 Ball says "My Sources Say No"... so, there's that...

Thoughts?

That is fantastic value for Higgins in my opinion. I think this is a smash accept. Also, Higgins is a beast but Tyler Boyd is also a beast and is under contract until 2023.

My sources say this is a value trade that also meets a team need. Miles has just as much of a chance as Higgins to be a long term + asset, plus you get a #1 pick? You are thinking too hard on this one.

This is great value right now. The majority probably has Sanders over Higgins, so the 1st on top makes it a no brainer.

The value is certainly there. Comes down to if you think Sanders can stay healthy as a workhorse. I would not make this deal, but I'm low on Sanders and high on Higgins. But again, the value is 100% there.

Sanders > Higgins. Hopefully the other owner hasn't changed his mind while you came here to post.

This is a massively plus value and even if you don't like Sanders, it shouldn't be hard to flip either Sanders or Sanders + 1st for someone you prefer to Higgins unless you already have Higgins as like a top 10 dynasty value somehow.

It happens. It's a lot easier to give advise because it's not our team than when it's actually yours.
