This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

I think the Claypool/Reagor side is where the value is, and I also think that your team isn't likely to compete this season so moving one of your older WRs is a good move. Definite take for me.
Team 1: 2012-2016
2013 Champion, 2012 Runner-Up

Team 2: 12 Team PPR - 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 R/W/T, 23 man rosters, est. 2016

I would make the move if you are not contending/rebuilding. Allen is a great wr, but always underrated and aging. Could be his best value long term again, if you are not contending.

I'd make that trade. I am one of the people that undervalues Allen, so I'd move him for that. I also don't like Moss much. Hurts to move Hurst, but I really like Reagor and Claypool has looked really promising when he is starting.
12 Team Dynasty, (SF) (2pt/c TE Prem)
QB - Wentz, Heinicke, Big Ben, Fitz, Tyrod, Rudolph
RB - Henry, Kamara, CMC, R. Jones, D. Felton, P. Lindsay

TE - Gesicki, Engram, Uzomah, Hurst, Manhertz, Farrell

Value is on the Allen side, but youth is on the Claypool/Reagor side.

If competing I stay Allen, if you are in a complete tear it down rebuild, I'd go for the youth.

I don't like this trade at all. You should be able to get a more proven rookie than Reagor (unless you view Claypool as the centerpiece, but it appears he is the WR3 in Pitt).

Allen should net you a pair of 1sts from someone, or an early 21 First - way more liquid than specific players.

Claypool > Reagor at this point. Also even if Claypool is the WR3 right now...he's a rookie and JuJu is likely to be somewhere else next season (I also think it's a fairly substantial overreaction to proclaim him the WR3 after multiple games where he appeared to be the top option just because he wasn't involved for one game...yes I know Johnson was hurt in those, but JuJu was not). This also just feels like redraft-y thinking. This is one of those deals that's likely to look extremely lopsided in a year or two in favor of the youth in a year or two. I'd rather have Claypool + Reagor than two random 1sts. I'd also rather have two seconds than Moss + Hurst.

That only works if you believe in Reagor, I don't. I also think Claypool is going to be like early career DeSean Jackson when he was a monster or a zero. Great for best ball, but tough to build around. I'd still want Allen for this price

Claypool may be an unreliable option RoS, but he's a rookie and knocking a rookie for being boom/bust is ridiculous. I think it's reasonable to expect him to develop into a fantasy WR1 within 1-2 seasons (especially if JuJu moves on after this season).

He has one game where he was given more than 4 targets. He is averaging 17 yards per catch. 90% of his production comes from 3 games, like 50% from his one blow up game. Pitt views him as a home run threat, Johnson is the rookie they see as the future #1. Facing a Tenn dst that focused on stopping him, made him invisible. I like him and want him on my roster, but I just don't see him as ever being consistent

I like this move for you. Claypool and reagor are two high upside prospects in good situations. It may be a downgrade in current production but lots of upside and fair value for Allen. I prefer the picks to Hurst and moss.

He has games of 4/81/1, 7/116/4 and 3/88/1. I think last week was the first where he didn't have at least one very impressive play. You're being wayyyyy too critical of a rookie by complaining that he's not consistent enough. I also think it's ridiculous to essentially penalize someone for essentially having "too big" of a week...if he'd only had 20 points in week 5 then under 30% of his production would be that week and he'd still be getting hyped. Also Johnson is not a rookie.

Claypool has the measurables to be a high level WR1 in the NFL and we've now seen him put together 3 very nice games in the first half of his rookie season. I just think it's insane to jump to the conclusion that he will never be consistent 6 weeks into his rookie season. I also don't think the lack of consistent targets argument is very persuasive when it comes to projecting upside rookies...if anything it's a positive that he's done as much as he was with so few opportunities. He's a rookie....it's reasonable to expect him to earn more opportunities as he develops.
