McKinnon set to start, but he isn't a bell cow, so yeah. Neither is Hasty, though. I expect about 8-10 carries, maybe a few more. They may just ride him, knowing he isn't a long term guy, and save Jet. Jet will get the passing down work the next few week, so he's still the play in a lineup if you had both.
Jeff Wilson too... But he's questionable. Currently in a tough spot with Mostert out, Gaskin and JT on bye. Have Wilson in but debating on dropping him for Hasty, which is probably the smart move long term anyway
If I were betting I’d wager:
McKinnon is the main 3rd down/passing back with a few carries
Hasty is the preferred 1-2 down back with 8-15 touches dependent on game flow
Wilson, id active, is the preferred short yardage/GL back with a few additional carries.

I hope they give Hasty a real shot. He’s more exciting that Wilson and it’s my understanding that he is a capable pass catcher
How does Coleman play into this when he's back?
Team 1 10 Team PPR QB, 2RB, 3WR, 2TE, 3Flex

QB: Feilds, Lance, Stafford
RB: Javonte, Charbonnet
WR: Godwin, Boyd, Aiyuk, Mingo, Downs
TE: Kincaid, Kraft, Schoonmaker

Team 2 10 Team PPR QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 3Flex
QB: Lamar, Baker
RB: Barkley, Jonathan Taylor, Ekeler, Sanders, Dillon, Pierce
WR: Diggs, Hill, Lockett, Addison
TE: Andrews, Hurst, Logan Thomas

Team 3 12 Team PPR (keep 16)
QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, 3Flex

QB: Kyler, Feilds
RB: CMC, Javonte, Dobbins, Dillo, Brian Robinson
WR: AJB, Godwin, DJ Moore, Keenan, Lamb, Burks, Toney
TE: Kittle, Hockenson

I assume someone else will get hurt before that. That's just how this backfield works.

Lol that’s probably the best prediction. One would think a healthy Coleman would get touches ahead of Wilson and Hasty on early downs assuming Hasty doesn’t force SF to play him more by completely balling out.

Right I look at the pecking order as
Mostert
Mckinnon/Coleman
Wilson/Hasty

Hasty is the only one who could move up imo

Rookie struggles and not-
https://www.pff.com/news/fantasy-footba ... -to-know-4

-Mark Ingram II has been tackled for a loss on just one of his 50 carries. That is the fourth-best rate among running backs with at least 20 carries. J.K. Dobbins has been tackled for a loss on 20% of his carries — the worst rate among backs with at least 20 carries.

Jonathan Taylor‘s 22.7 elusive rating is the second-lowest among players with at least 60 rushing attempts. In his last year of college, he was at 104.4 — the seventh-best in the draft class.
-----------------------------------
A.J. Dillon has an elusive rating of 145.6 — the best for all running backs with at least 10 touches.

I liked this one from that article:

Houston Texans – Bradley Roby is the only cornerback to follow around the opponents' top receiver in every game this season. He has yet to allow more than 45 receiving yards in a game.

Something tells me that’s gonna end today as ARodge/Adams try to put on a show after last week’s beat down.

Some reports today that Swift will finally be getting more opportunities after last week. Hopefully Patricia doesnt screw this up. I can still see 10 percent snap share, 5 touches :) :) :)

I'm finally starting him, so he will get 2 carries for 4 yards in garbage time and AP will carry the ball 20 times.

I'm forced to start him in a league. Had to activate him off of taxi and everything. I fear what you mention.

Detroit continues to boggle the mind when it comes to play calling. Swift started off hot and then Detroit stopped using him as frequently.

In other news, it wasn’t a tough opponent, but Antonio Gibson flashed yesterday in a workhorse role. No catches unfortunately, but he contributed to the lead and was in there most of the game salting it away after.

Didn't watch the whole game so not sure how he looked but was really disappointed with AJ Dillon's stat line. Any thoughts @dif_mikeh? I know you were high on him.

As someone who has both i had a good and bad day. I just cant get over this with Swift, people are gonna just look at the box score and think its him, its NOT him. It is an incompetent coaching staff that for some reason wants to give AP more carries than swift. I am not up on offensive coordinators but is this a Bevell thing? Give Swift more carries and see what he can do. Its just so frustrating. Thank god im not competing this season or id be even more mad about this. Wish detroit lost that game so they could move on from Patricia.

As far as Gibson is concerned, i got him cheap, 2.10 pick back in May when Guice and Ap were still there and so far he seems like an absolute steal. He is learning the postion and unlike Patricia it really seems like Rivera wants him to be the guy eventually. Im much more concerned about Swift than i am gibson at this point even though i think Swift is more talented.

I think you answered your own question. I had noticed that too, I think they told him not to overthink things and different positions, focus on carrying the ball 20-25 times vs a bad run D and he responded nicely.
