AJB value

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

AJB value

Postby Badgersfan222 » Mon Oct 19, 2020 11:30 am

My team is below. I’ve made a lot of trades to get some draft capital.

Looking to pry away AJB From a team soon to be 1-5 that is in its second year of rebuild. Is a 2021 first and 2022 first an overpay?

Feel like if I could get him with F1, Jefferson & Higgins....My team would be pretty damn competitive next year.
Team 1: 12 team, PPR, 25 Keepers
Starting Requirements:
1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex (RB/WR/TE)

QB: D. Watson, Wentz, Hurts,
RB: J. Jacobs, Swift, C. Edmonds, D. Harris, D. Evans, L. Bowden, & J. Samuels,
WR: McLaurin, Godwin, Higgins, J. Jefferson, Sutton, T. Boyd, Aiyuk, V. Jefferson, Mims, & G. Davis
TE: M. Andrews, Fant, Irv Smith Jr, H. Bryant (cle) & D. Parham

2021 Picks: N/A
2022 Picks: 1.xx, 2.xx, 2.xx, 2.xx, 4.xx

Team 2: 12 team, PPR, 25 Keepers
Starting Requirements:
1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 3 Flex (RB/WR/TE)

QB: R. Wilson, M. Ryan, Mariota
RB: Mixon, Swift, JK Dobbins, Edmunds, Cohen, K. Johnson, Breida, S. Ahmed
WR: T. Hill, C. Ridley, Diggs, Godwin, DJM, Claypool, Reagor, Mims, Gandy-Golden, C. Johnson (Jax)

I would pay two 1st's for Brown especially if one of them his two years out. Not sure that gets it done, but worth a shot. I have him valued at two 1st's + a bit more. Your WR core would look really solid long term if you land Brown.

X2 on this, I'd happily pay two firsts for a player of his caliber at that age

The pair of firsts is an underpay imo and not sure why someone rebuilding would trade him a way for this. Worth a shot though.

If he is in rebuild, ajb is a guy you build around. It should take more to get him

As a rebuilding team owner, I wouldn't trade him away for that, unless I'd plan to still be rebuilding through 2022.
3x teams in 32-team standard PPR + IDP leagues

It doesn't matter what we want. Once we get it, we want something else.

Yeah, he declined. He wants both first round picks to be 2021. Also would want one of them to be early, which I do not have.

Considering the amount of draft picks I have, would a 2021 1st & 2nd and then a 2022 1st be enough or too much?

I don't think it's an overpay unless they're both early (and you said you don't have an early '21 1st).

Yeah I’d be willing to pay that amount definitely. AJB checked all the boxes in his rookie season and the fact that he came back from injury as hot as he has mean you’ll have to pay up more. I wouldn’t take less than a early 1st and random 1st, and by next offseason I bet it will cost even more
