I’ve been trying to get him for a mid to late 2nd + a prospect and the owner will not sell, now with KC landing spot less likely, they are sticking to high 2nd or even a late first late first.

A 2nd seems fair. You could also hold and hope he has a good week or two and then move him. If on an off chance you get offered a 1st because of the landing spot, sell immediately.
