Schefter was just on ESPN saying all NO re tests came back negative this morning including the FB who tested positive yesterday. Play ball!

Are they sure today's test wasn't a false negative though? I know these tests aren't very accurate. Just thinking out loud

Depends on the false positive rate. But no positives for saints and no new positives for pats. Looks like those games are going to go on

Also sounds like nfl is looking into the titans and how they reported symptoms and used the trackers. I think at this point if there are more positives over the next few days titans-bills week 5 will either be postponed or forfeited.

Completely agree on the first part. The show must go on with no positive tests. Just pointing out that this could take a turn for the worst.

I think if the titans can't go week 5, they should forfeit. Not the Bills fault and are you going to add another week at the end of the season? Every playoff team would get a bye and they have to play week 18? Could've been avoided had they added a universal bye or 2

Apparently with these rapid tests (I believe it's the Antigen test) the good thing about them is they can result in false positives, but not false negatives. So when they test positive they are tested again with a different test to confirm the positive result or identify it as a false positive.

Although admittedly my source on that is Max Kellerman on First Take, but it was during an interview with Dr Myron Rolle who did agree with him.

No more positive tests once again today for the Titans. Their facilities could be opened tomorrow and they would be able to have a relatively normal week of game prep.

Stephon Gilmore tested positive for Covid. Pats cancling practice today (wednesday). If confirmed positive it will be a big boost to Denver's wrs if the game gets played. 2nd key pats player testing positive in the last week (after Cam).

NFL still allowing hand shakes and hugs etc after the games, BTW. Their plan is starting to unravel. I think there is a real danger of the season unravelling.

Yup can't see how the titans manage to play the game if they are still getting more cases with already one game postponed. wonder when the last NFL forfeit was.

edit: apparently an NFL game was never forfeited.
