Chris Carson trade?

I’m trying to shop some pieces on Team 2 in signature to build for the future. Looking to move Carson if possible, but just haven’t received many good offers.

Just got an offer today of Denzel Mims + 2021 2nd for Carson.

I don’t love it, but is anyone getting better offers for Carson right now? I’m not going to win this year, so is it worth selling him off for what I can get?

I mean, my team is 2-1 - but with season ending injuries to Saquon and some smaller injuries to Adams and Godwin, I just don’t see myself making a run given some of the other rosters in my league.

I feel like Carson’s value may decline as the season progresses so I’m trying to scoop up what I can for next year...

Unfortunately there isn’t much interest in Carson from the rest of the league. Already shopped him around. Other offer on the table is Hardman + a 2nd.

Personally if that's all you can get then I would keep him. Pete seems to love the guy. I can see him signing a short term deal this off season. He is getting targets now and that makes him a low end RB1 a lot of weeks. I don't think Penny takes anything from him this year.

You're shopping Carson around the week he is hurt.
Honestly, that's the absolute worst time.

Owners switch from dynasty to a bit of redraft thinking this time of year and 1-2 week injuries scare them off.

Wait until Carson comes back and has another big game and then do so.
People have been trying to write Carson off since he entered the NFL draft.
People keep getting proven wrong.

He was terrific last year - was producing great this year without the sizeable workload (that he will get as the season wears on). Why give that away for a 2nd round pick and a receiver on the worst run team in the sport?

No way. Hold and better offers will come when Carson returns.

I actually just got a follow up offer here of Denzel Mims and a 2021 1st. It’s the best value I’ve been offered and I’m definitely thinking about it. 1st looks like it’ll be in the 7-10 range.

Any thoughts on that offer?

I traded him straight up recently for Hunter Henry. This league has tiered PPR and tiered points for first downs, so Carson is getting .5 for each while Henry is getting 1.5 each. I felt like that was a big win.
