Has anybody mentioned the possibility that the game goes as scheduled and Tennessee/Minnesota either plays the guys with negative tests only, or they forfeit? Seems unfair to Pittsburgh and Houston to force them to play their Week 5 games on short rest because Tennessee and Minnesota had positive tests.

So they would expect the Titans to play with no practice or access to their facility all week? LOL. Ah, the NFL.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the NFL "wants and intends" to play Titans/Steelers as scheduled on Sunday, but that moving to Monday evening will be a possibility.
Per Schefter, this would "allow for additional testing and contact tracing to occur." It would also enable the Titans, who are not allowed back in their facility until Saturday, to get in a day of practice. Frankly, this seems like a no-brainer even if the Titans' outbreak is capped at its current three players. This will be a continually-evolving situation all week.
Latest update. Potentially play Monday. Lets the Titan's have one practice/walk through.

Seems like the best solution imo.

The NFL should have had 1-2 league wide bye weeks so they would have the flexibility to cancel & reschedule games.

Don't think they wanted to extend the schedule further. Would leave more time for spread.

Titans placed DE DaQuan Jones, TE Tommy Hudson, and LS Beau Brinkley on the COVID-19 list.
These three players and five other Titans staff members have tested positive. The team will stay away from facilities until at least Saturday, but they need to pass COVID-19 testing before attempting to play on Sunday. The NFL is prepared to delay the Titans vs. Steelers game to Monday if another day is needed. Because the Vikings played the Titans last Sunday, they too will be away from facilities until testing clears them. It's the first major scare in the NFL.

Well if they didn't spread it, it looks like minimal direct impact on fantasy

A 1st titan, lb coach s bowan tested positive on Saturday, making 9 titans, with the 8 on Monday. All 8 of those titans tested negative on Saturday, but positive Monday

Vikings are shut down indefinitely, as the average incubation time is 5-7 days, with a longest time exceeding 14 days. The way covid builds (its viral load) means that someone could test negative 12 straight days (while isolating) and test positive on the 13th.

Well the way the NFL works is they will be playing before then.

Like i wrote the typical time is 5-7 days, so I expect the Vikings to get tested a few more times before being allowed back to actually train

Incubation time, not transmission time. No biggie just making sure correct info is there.
