Fournette vs Ruggs and 2021 1st

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Fournette vs Ruggs and 2021 1st

Postby ThatGuyBrian » Sat Sep 26, 2020 6:40 pm

My team is a fringe possible playoff team, but could also end up losing some games and ending up with a top five pick. I was offered this trade and I don’t know if it is worth it:

I get
Leonard Fournette

For
Henry Ruggs
2021 1st round pick
Current Win Now!!:
Chester
10 team PPR (1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex, 1 Kicker, 1 Def/St) 27 man roster limit:
Qb Josh Allen, Joe Burrow
RB Jonathan Taylor, Christian McCaffery, Dalvin Cook, Saquon Barkley, Jk Dobbins, Gus Edwards, Eno Benjamin
WR Cooper Kupp, Michael Thomas, Chris Godwin, Juju Smith-Shuster, Brandon Aiyuk, Calvin Ridley (S), Zay Jones, Lavishka Shenault, Terrace Marshall,
TE George Kittle, Darren Waller, Pat Freiermuth
K Justin Tucker
Def/St Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers

Possibly competitive team
QB: DeShaun Watson, Daniel Jones, Cj Stroud
RB: Breece Hall, Travis Etienne, JK Dobbins, JaVonte Williams, Latavius Murray, Gus Edwards, Kenny McIntosh
WR: Calvin Ridley, Jaylen Waddle, Chris Olave, Michael Thomas, Garrett Wilson, Darnell Mooney, Romeo Doubs, Terrace Marshall, Justyn Ross, Kayshoun Boutte, Puka Nacka
TE: Kyle Pitts, Zach Ertz, Darren Waller, Tucker Kraft
K: Justin Tucker
D/St: Bills, Bucs

Shoot much higher than LF if youre packaging those pieces.

you don't want to be making trades just to make the playoffs. you want to be making trades to be a legitimate contender, or you want to start rebuilding. Fournette isn't pushing any team from non contender to contender. This is a hold for me Ruggs and the 1st are pieces I'd probably prefer to Fournette 1-1, so definitely not a fan of this one.
