While I don't buy "minimal competition," I do buy trading Gaskin away.

What I can't figure out is what MIA eventually wants out of Breida, who I think is their best RB of the top 3. But it may not matter on this team, which would be a disappointing but unsurprising waste of (fantasy) talent.
I think they brought in Breida to do what Gaskin is doing, Gaskin just beat him out in camp.
I liked Gaskin at Washington. He seemed like kind of an arbitrage Devin Singletary last year. Like most UDFAs, he's probably going to turn back into a pumpkin, so I'm all for selling for a 2nd or packaging up to a young RB I like more. But as others stated, he's probably not there yet.

But yes, still incredibly high odds of turning into a pumpkin.

Yep, my bad!
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

Yep, agree Gaskin looks like a hit so far this year, but dynasty-wise, not as excited.
Agreed. In dynasty setting he is a flip for me.
He doesn't have enough value to be flipped yet

A Thursday night blowup could change that though
Agree. I'd flip once his value gets to a 2nd. Josh Kelley, Robinson, Gaskin, etc. I just want to make a nice return on these types of players and then cash out.

What are the odds on hitting the million? Seems like no one can give me a straight forward answer on that part lol I don't play the lottery, so give me the $10

I liked him coming out. Hope he continues to get touches and show what he can do. Not a lot of competition in Miami and I think he might be able to improve even more with Tua. Not sure what his long-term outlook looks like though.

Gaskin

Postby Ron_Y » Thu Sep 24, 2020 1:12 pm

I have watched nothing regarding this guy, but a part of me wants to be ballsy and start him. Any input is appreciated on how he has looked, what the dolphins are doing overall with the RBBC, etc.

Right now after losing Saquon and Mostert, i am starting

Kamara
Cook
Gordon
Dobbins

Gaskin would theoretically start over Gordon or Dobbins.

It wasn't pretty, but he played 77% of the snaps. The reception floor is nice.

Thought he had some nice catches. Going to be tough to rely on him for a lot of points in that offense, but with injuries stacking and bye weeks coming, I'm sure he will be in my lineup some more

He sure looks better than I thought he would. Already flushed Breida down the drain, didn't pay enough attention to these guys. Next!

Nothing to see here. Miami wanted to know what they had in him, and it doesn't look like much. I wouldn't trust him in my lineup this season, and the Dolphins ha e to be a lock to draft or sign a running back in the offseason.
