Josh Kelley's value

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Josh Kelley's value

Postby ThunderTung » Thu Sep 24, 2020 10:39 am

I picked him up in the 5th round last rookie draft, is this a sell quick while i can situation? and if so what do you think he's worth in picks?

or is he a hold for now and see what else he can do?

Im always ready to flip a 5th rounder for a 2nd or something, but being another season or 2 away from realistically competing, i dont want to give up a young stud for what will look like peanuts by the end of the year

With Kelly, I would hold. This scenario is a little different than most of the usual "flip for a 2nd."

Hes a def hold. Im trying to buy everywhere I dont have him and have offered 2nd round pick and its been turned down every time. Only way to buy him is to overpay or in a multiplayer deal.

X2 he was viewed as a decent talent with good enough draft capital just was faded for other players with a better situation ala McFarland.

I would hold based on his upside vs what you would get on the market currently.

i dont think i would ship Kelley off for a 2nd at this point...hes getting a very valuable workload and producing at a very high level
