Trade for Sanders?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trade for Sanders?

Postby khaos337 » Tue Sep 22, 2020 6:51 pm

Team 1 in sig, one of the worst teams in the league offered me Miles Sanders and his 2021 2nd for Ridley and my 2021 1st. Those two picks could easily wind up being 10 and 11. Based on my team construction (you start 2QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2FLEX) would you make that trade?

Sanders helps your build, but the value here is not good in my opinion. I would pass.

Just out of curiosity, where is your line between helping your build vs value?

I'm cautious with RBs anymore because of how many each team plays/breaks down touches, contracts and so on. I prefer to build around wr's. To me, Ridley is worth more than Sanders or a 1 for 1 is fair. A 1st is too much on top. A trade like this could set you back in a couple years.

I'd take it. Sell high on Ridley and get a stud RB in a 10 teamer.

I get the idea with the potential small drop in draft pick value, but in a Covid universe and the injuries this year, nothing’s certain. I think they’re too close in value to gamble like that.
