Krys barnes
Krys barnes
Promoted this week, started and had a decent set of #s. Anything to see here?

Re: Krys barnes
Well he was in the starting lineup, but eventually only played 15 snaps on defense and 8 on special teams. So unless his playing time increases, I'm not rushing to acquire him. But worth monitoring I guess.

It doesn't matter what we want. Once we get it, we want something else.

Re: Krys barnes
Oh really, didn't see his snap numbers. He was just the highest scoring FA lb and figured I'd ask what happened

Yeah thanks for the snap count. That changes a lot. I know Pettine plays a ton of 1 LB which would support his lack of snaps.

Love that kind of production out of limited snaps. He was called up from the PS on the Friday before the game. Burks clearly is not the answer there, or Summers. He’s worth an add in deep leagues. We’ll see what happens when Kamal Martin gets healthy

Re: Krys barnes
Good post. I have Barnes in one league and Martin in my other. I'm guessing they'll chew each other up while Kirksey gets 90% of snaps.Bronco Billy wrote: ↑Wed Sep 16, 2020 6:41 pm Love that kind of production out of limited snaps. Could be. I know GB thought of Martin as s 1st/2nd round pick who dropped because of the knee injury last year. They sure talked him up a lot. But nothing supersedes opportunity.Space Cowboy wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 12:26 pmGood post. I have Barnes in one league and Martin in my other. Re: Krys barnes
So to whom it may concern, he again played 15 snaps on D, and 11 on ST this week.

Re: Krys barnes
No idea how they're stopping the run playing 1 LB but good for them. Guess the Smith's chip in more than I thought in run D.TB3falcons wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 3:18 amReiterating this ^^^^^^Space Cowboy wrote: ↑Wed Sep 16, 2020 10:52 am Yeah thanks for the snap count. Kirksey expected to miss a least this week’s game and maybe more. Might be a chance for Barnes to log a few more snaps.
Re: Krys barnes
I would look to add Ty Summers

Re: Krys barnes
Haven't seen snap counts yet but looked like a split between Barnes and Summers. Burks of course sat on the bench.

Summers was on the field almost all game. Barnes came off on passing situations. He was less active last week than what we’ve seen in the past.
