I'd take the 3rd and run if you have other options
Id sell for a 2020 3rd, but a 2022 3rd?
Are you going to use him? That's the question. I get the pick is far off, but it's something.

The pick will have more value come 2022. Maybe it never does anything, but if Brady is on your bench? What good does that do

San Diego is a great place to retire, but not so good for his football prospects.
Right. Why would he want to go to Mahome's division? If he wants to win, AFC east is still his best bet.
San Diego is in nobodies division because they don't have a team.
That was the joke, thank you.

LOL. When AB gets there the OJH hype will slow. As well as the Godwin hype, sadly.

So Brady was asked to leave a closed park in TB were he was training, due to the COVID concerns, and the obvious implications of trying to limit the spreading of the virus.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300000 ... orking-out

So I guess we could say he was asked to leave for trying to train for a "spread offense"?

If Brady falters in T.B?

Postby millworkguy » Mon Sep 14, 2020 4:36 am

After watching about half of yesterday's game, after starting brady.

Do we think more of Belichick?
Think less if Brady or blame T.B?

He's learning a new system and played against arguably the best team in the NFC.

I think it's clear that Brady has declined some, but he's definitelly still getting used to where everyone's supposed to be at.

I think now is a good time to throw a low-ball offer out there for Brady.

He looked damn good on the first drive of the game, and had some great throws throughout (several throws to Godwin come to mind as well as the TD pass to Evans). Pass rush was getting there and Evans had some bad plays, one leading to a crucial INT; another was a holding call that took away a 1st down and led to a punt. Hate to say it as a PIT fan, but I think he's still got it

As others said, he played against a great team/defense yesterday. I wouldn't take too much away from 1 game (including Belichick, who played against a bad team)

Brady is too motivated and driven to accept this. It may take a few weeks but I think he'll get it in gear. They looked like a team that was trying to swallow a ton of change and couldn't go the distance against a really good defense that has continuity.

I say buy low and you'll get a return by Week 5.

He looked better than Brees, Brees just has more talent around him. Brady will be fine.

Fwiw arians system is notoriously difficult even for veteran qbs to pick up. Combine that with this off-season and the minimal work offenses got together and this was predictable. If you need a qb Imo this is a good buy low time

He looked fine. Not 30 year old Brady good, but still good enough to play at a high level. The saints blanketed the TB wideouts and Evans was mainly just a decoy.

To answer the OP. I feel exactly the same way about brady and belichik after Sunday as I did before. The Pats beat a terrible Miami team and the Bucs got beat by one of the top teams in the league. Let's wait until these teams play a few games to decide the Brady vs Belichik delimna.

I thought Brees lacked zing in his downfield passes. I could be wrong and he intentionally put some touch or more arc to them though.
