Big trade

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Big trade

Postby JamboMac » Sun Sep 06, 2020 7:10 pm

Team 3 in Sig.

Give
Allen
Kupp
Ridley

Receive
Edwards-Heliare
Hollywood Brown
Watkins

Or I can swap Brown for Hurst (1.75 TEP)

I know it would most likely take me out of contention this year, but wondering if anyone would do it to make your team younger?

I could possibly trade Conner or Singletary for a WR.
12 team - 1QB, PPR
QB- Mahomes, Geno, Dobbs
RB- Ekeler, Taylor, Z.White, B.Robinson, Mattison, Stevenson, Zeke
WR- Allen, Jefferson, Tyreek, AJ Brown, M.Thomas, Atwell
TE- McBride, Waller, J.Smith

12 team - SF, PPR, 0.25PPC, 1.5 TEP
QB - Allen, Lawrence, Jackson
RB - JT, Etienne, Hall, K.Williams, Gibbs, Dobbins
WR - Lamb, St Brown, Deebo, Olave, JSN, Meyers, Metchie
TE - Pitts, Engram, Otton, Mayer, Woods, Fant

I would hold the Allen+ side. Three really good wr assets.

I wouldn't make the trade. You would be giving up your top three proven WR's and be left with young unproven receivers.
12 Team - 1 pt. PPR, 23 Player Roster, (10 Starters) 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLX (RB, WR, TE), 1 K, 1 DEF

Masters of the Gridiron (Est. June 4th 2016) 2022 Regular Season Record: 21-7, 2nd Place (Playoffs 0-2, Lost 3rd Place Consolation Game)
QB: Jalen Hurts, Trey Lance, Matthew Stafford, Desmond Ridder, Gardner Minshew, Tom Brady
RB: Rhamondre Stevenson, Joe Mixon, Damien Harris, Devin Singletary, Jeffery Wilson, Kareem Hunt, Pierre Strong
WR: Ceedee Lamb, Stefon Diggs, Cooper Kupp, Chris Godwin, Jahan Dotson, Diontae Johnson, Donovan Peoples-Jones, K J Hamler
TE: Mark Andrews, Travis Kelce, Dallas Goedert, Chigoziem Okonkwo
K: Evan McPherson
D/ST: Kansas City Chiefs

Draft Picks
2023: 3.4, 3.5

Pass. I like Kupp and Ridley too much.

My biggest worry here is my lack of draft picks. I only have a 2nd and 5th as I used a few to get Tua, Swift and Jeudy. If Singletary doesn't boom and Conner gets injured again I'm in trouble. Allen being 28 and Kupp 27, those are the ages I usually sell. Ridley is the only stumbling block for me.

This trade has changed slightly now. Ridley has been dropped but Swift in his place. Watkins on his side dropped for Hurst (1.75 TEP). So now it's..

Give
Swift
Allen
Kupp

Receive
CEH
Hollywood Brown
Hurst

I like this trade even for a "win now" team. It gets me younger and with huge potential, although with risks.

What do we think?
