Jefferson, Raegor, or Ruggs?
Jefferson, Raegor, or Ruggs?
It seems that for many of us, there comes a point in the draft where these are the three to choose from. I am having a difficult time sorting them, but here is what I see:
Raegor: Running with the first team, lots of positive press, haven't seen anything negative. Some concerns about utilization but if everyone likes him including the QB what is to worry about? Also best QB of the three.
Jefferson: Likely #2 on a run first team. Was great at LSU, some question how much of that was Burrow and how much was him. Having a hard time trusting the offense and coaching staff there with WRs.
Ruggs: People say he is mostly speed, but lots of others say he's got more than that. I am leaning towards him just because of how valuable speed is, but for every Cheetah we also have John Ross. I expect the Raiders to feature him.
Right now I'm torn between Ruggs and Raegor. Anyone feel strongly about any of these three?

No reason to take Reagor over Ruggs, as anything Reagor does Ruggs can do better.

Reagor has been my WR2 since pre-draft, and he ain't moving now.

I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

Re: Jefferson, Raegor, or Ruggs?
I think Reagor has highest upside given his skill set, best QB and the husks of Alshon and DJax as his only competition for WR targets. Raiders are lower volume passing and Edwards could easily be the WR1 there. Jefferson same thing.

Jefferson>>>>>>Ruggs>>>>>>>Reagor for me
Re: Jefferson, Raegor, or Ruggs?
Aren't you concerned about Jefferson in that offense? I owned Diggs last year and man that sucked.

I am to an extent as it pertains to his ceiling but I think he is the highest floor talent with definite day 1 contribution potential and I am not sure if Cook gets re signed or if Zimmer is there for the long run

He just signed an extension in June.StripesOfKC wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 1:52 pmI am to an extent as it pertains to his ceiling but I think he is the highest floor talent with definite day 1 contribution potential and I am not sure if Cook gets re signed or if Zimmer is there for the long run

Re: Jefferson, Raegor, or Ruggs?
I like Jefferson, Raegor, then Ruggs. I think Cousins is the best QB amongst those WRs. I am aware that I'm in the minority.
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.
Re: Jefferson, Raegor, or Ruggs?
Jefferson all day. Dynasty Fantasy Football, like redraft, is a ‘what have you done for me lately’ game. Jefferson has the best chance at a good/great rookie year.
- Kubiak passes more than Stefanski
- Thielen is going to draw the best coverage
- Even a Diggs-lite season will be a success for a rookie
Assuming everyone is healthy, here’s what I think the ADP will say at the start of 2021
Jefferson > Reagor > Pittman > Ruggs > Higgins

Jefferson, Reagor, Ruggs.
I'm trying to decide if throwing my 2021 1st+ at Reagor is worth it. Would be nice to stack with Wentz. But for now I'm happy to have 2 of these three.

Devil's advocate - by your very same logic... surely the answer should be Reagor?Snake wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 2:19 pm Jefferson all day. Dynasty Fantasy Football, like redraft, is a ‘what have you done for me lately’ game. Jefferson has the best chance at a good/great rookie year.

Jefferson > Reagor > Pittman > Ruggs > Higgins
- More explosive than Jefferson by my eye's reckoning
- Already running with the 1's, with 33 year old Desean Jackson as the only name above him on the depth chart
- D-Jax and the TE's will draw top coverage, unless Reagor quickly proves to be even more dangerous than them
- Wentz a far more willing gunslinger than Cousins
- Scheme far more conducive to passing volume
I'd target Reagor in redraft right now the way it's going. Jefferson... not so much.
