Kenyan Drake value in full PPR

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Kenyan Drake value in full PPR

Postby Fezzik » Fri Jul 17, 2020 10:21 am

Team 3 below - Macho Man Randy Savage. 12 team full PPR. Start 1QB/1RB/1WR/1TE/K/D and 2 flex (any RB/WR/TE). Bit shallow starting requirements so studs are at a premium.

I have a ton of WR's and only Baequan at RB. I think Drake is a good player, on a very good offense, but is 26 and doesn't have prototypical size.

Guy has Drake on the block and needs WR; we're a perfect fit in terms of need.

Here are my WR (AD) in full PPR.... who would you trade straight up for Drake?
O Beckham Jr. (19)
C. Sutton (23)
S. Diggs (44) / K Allen (32)
D. Samuel (49)
****Drake (52)*****
D. Slayton (93)
J. Brown (109)
C. Davis (149)

I like the value at 5 for RB (Swift or Dobbins I think, but if he's there I'd love CD Lamb) and have to think it'll be a WR at 11. He isn't a fan of Slayton (I offered Slayton plus 11 for Drake and 2.09, which he declined. In retrospect that was a bit of a lowball given what people think of Drake but I honestly didn't think the community was as high on Drake as it is. He said he'd counter.

I'm also trying to get 1.01, but would have to pay up. Talks are ongoing but he wants to wait until the draft. So nothing solid there.

Anyway, long story short - I have a ton of good WR and could use a RB. I could lose out on some value to fill a need here. But I'd like a sanity check on where Drake's value is.

EDIT - I have picks 1.05, 1.11 to supplement RB and WR

Deebo or Diggs seems fine to me

D. Samuel might get it done with his offseason hype.

I’d deal any of those WRs straight for Drake if I were competing this year. Drake should be great in that offense this year. The future beyond that is unknown, but play to win now if your team is good.

Please for God's sake don't send OBJ or Sutton straight up for Drake. That's flat out awful

Any of the others are fine though

Deebo and Diggs are fairest value but right now Diggs probably has a better chance of being accepted

In all seriousness I did mean to say except for Odell or Sutton. All the others are no brainers for me.

What ADP are you looking at? I use Mizelle's ADP (which usually correlates to DLF's) and that has Drake at 28. In fact all your # are way off. Mizelle has OBJ at 31 not 19, Sutton at 40, not 23, Allen 53 not 32, Deebo 63 not 49, and on.

As a Drake owner in a couple leagues, Deebo (especially with a broken foot) or Diggs alone isn't getting you anywhere near Drake for me. Depending on where the owner is in the business cycle, I might do it for 1.5 + 1.11 with giving the 2.9 and something else minor back.
PSA - Haggling is NOT the same as negotiating.

It looks like he's not using ADP, but rather the top 200 rankings for DLF.
My take is stand pat and take Swift at 1.5. He'll be a nice boost to your RBs, in a league where you only need to start 1 RB

Agree with above. Deebo or diggs. I also would try one of those and the 1.5 to move up to top two and grab CEH or JT.
