Most attempts for my Chubb I turn down, what would it take?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Most attempts for my Chubb I turn down, what would it take?

Postby johnnymozart » Mon Jul 13, 2020 7:11 pm

Entendres aside,
I am someone that for better or worse consistently trades and drives the axis of my league. Most picks that have been moved-- originate from me, as I account for 50-60% of every trade in our semi inactive league. One of the biggest days of action is draft day which is a couple weeks out... I have received numerous offers for Chubb.
I know I will likely trade him on draft day.

Some people have a lot of picks to offer, some have more player packages... My team is built to win now but also I love draft picks as much as the last one...

I could see myself turning Chubb into 3 assets. I would trade Lamar if the haul is worth it. So if I do deal Chubb and the community disagrees it, what would you go for in the best package? Cause I will leverage the market and it's strong

I’m sorry but this is incredibly open ended without having any idea what your looking for it, whats been offered, what’s available, etc and is almost entirely impossible to give an answer too.

I would want a solid package to move either Chubb or Jackson. Getting an established asset on top of picks might be the best way to go since you know what you have in both pieces already. I could see Chubbs production seeping a bit this season due to Hunt, but he is still a monster asset long term. WR looks to be your biggest need as a contender as well as bring in another back if you move Chubb.

14 teamer Chubbs gotta be pretty pricey. Pair of 1sts and a RB2? a top 5 first, 2nd and an RB2?

If you're a contender, then why would you trade him for picks? There goes any chance you have of competing. I'd hold Chubb here unless you are moving him to upgrade.

Of the stud RBs, there are three I don't think you'll get good value for: Kamara, Chubb, and Cook. In all three cases I'm not moving until the season if I'm looking to move.

Ditto, so your open to trading Chubb, who are you targeting? Picks, players, future picks? Need slightly more info besides a well written question.

Dealing Chubb and/or Jackson for draft picks definitely moves you out of win-now mode. I wouldn't be looking to move either at this time.
