Did I see they just put up a "makeup" or apology? Strange I don't think I heard an apology in that besides Chuba.Jigga94 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 15, 2020 4:41 pmDid I see they just put up a "makeup" or apology? Not sure if that's what this is

he's going to head into the draft with two consecutive 2k rushing seasons, and will likely weigh in at 215 while running sub 4.4. really doubt he's not going to be a top prospect.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 8:16 pm I'm Canadian, and want Hubbard to do well, but I don't see him as a top prospect.

With bad pass pro, limited pass catching involvement, a very linear style of running, and not so great contact balance against Big 12 competitionFuzzySignificance wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 6:55 amhe's going to head into the draft with two consecutive 2k rushing seasons, and will likely weigh in at 215 while running sub 4.4. really doubt he's not going to be a top prospect.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 8:16 pm I'm Canadian, and want Hubbard to do well, but I don't see him as a top prospect.
Not saying he sucks but there are reasons to be skeptical of how he projects in the NFL (and for dynasty purposes)
Re: Way too Early 2021 Draft Thread
If he was so great he would have been on an NFL roster today because he wouldn't have returned to school. He won't be running sub 4.4 either.FuzzySignificance wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 6:55 amhe's going to head into the draft with two consecutive 2k rushing seasons, and will likely weigh in at 215 while running sub 4.4. really doubt he's not going to be a top prospect.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 8:16 pm I'm Canadian, and want Hubbard to do well, but I don't see him as a top prospect.

First off, he's not going to weigh in at 215. He is listed at 91 kg, or 200 pounds, basically. Most often, weight is listed generously, in college. In other words, he's more than likely sub 200 right now. He's a day 2 guy at best, IMO in other words, not a top prospect. Almost no chance he's a first rounder.FuzzySignificance wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 6:55 amhe's going to head into the draft with two consecutive 2k rushing seasons, and will likely weigh in at 215 while running sub 4.4. really doubt he's not going to be a top prospect.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 8:16 pm I'm Canadian, and want Hubbard to do well, but I don't see him as a top prospect.

I mean I agree with you on Hubbard overall but nowadays even top RB prospects are day 2 guys. Are Dobbins and JT not top prospects? Or Chubb 2 years ago?FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 3:52 pmFirst off, he's not going to weigh in at 215. He is listed at 91 kg, or 200 pounds, basically. With that said Hubbard has enough flaws in his tape for me to not have him as a top 5 2021 player (dynasty wise) barring an incredible landing spot, but him being a day 2 player as reasoning is a bit nitpicky IMO

Re: Way too Early 2021 Draft Thread
I did say at best. I'm not even certain he goes day 2. I think he could be a 3rd round type guy, but unless he improves in areas mentioned above, I don't think he's even a 2nd round guy. If you are a third round RB, you aren't a top prospect IMO. Monty, Henderson, Vaughn, Gibson over the past few years aren't top prospects. It is a weak class, so it may be that he is drafted near the top of the RB's, but that still doesn't mean as a prospect he's good, in a vacuum. If your'e going in round 3, regardless of position, you aren't a "top prospect" in my books. That's what I am saying. I feel Hubbard is rated higher in the Dynasty community than the NFL is valuing him, or will value him.StripesOfKC wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 4:07 pmI mean I agree with you on Hubbard overall but nowadays even top RB prospects are day 2 guys. I agree 100%. I think if he did declare in this class there was a reasonable chance he would have gone 4th round or at best late 3rd like Darrynton EvansFantasyFreak wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 4:09 pmI did say at best. Re: Way too Early 2021 Draft Thread
I think that--in a year--anyone who had a chance to get an RB at decent value in this year's draft and passed is really going to be regretting it unless the WR they took has a stud rookie year. In SF same deal with anyone who reached for Herbert over Swift/Akers

ignoring the comment about why a redshirt sophmore decides to go back to school vs compete against an historically strong rb class....he a team canada sprinter, ran a 4.3 in hs. he'll run sub 4.4bjd5211 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 2:32 pmIf he was so great he would have been on an NFL roster today because he wouldn't have returned to school. A lot of people allegedly ran a 4.3 in HS, and then don't at the Combine or Pro Day.FuzzySignificance wrote: ↑Wed Jun 17, 2020 6:52 amignoring the comment about why a redshirt sophmore decides to go back to school vs compete against an historically strong rb class....he a team canada sprinter, ran a 4.3 in hs. he'll run sub 4.4bjd5211 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 2:32 pmIf he was so great he would have been on an NFL roster today because he wouldn't have returned to school. The Redshirt year is irrelevant, all you need is 1 year (especially at RB ask CEH or Jacobs) to display what you can do and that you can perform at the NFL level.
