That was my initial offer, he said it was "interesting" but he needed more than the 2021 2nd and he's wanting to get the 2021 1st (it is his own 1st) but I think that's a bit too steep for me and was looking how I could get another piece

I just don't see the appeal here personally. To me this is like an upgrade at TE (where you are already solid) and a WR that carries minimal resale value for a possibly early 1st in SF. I'd just roll with Andrews if they can't come off that 1st.

Thanks for your thoughts. This is the way I'm leaning as of now. I think I'm just trying too hard to get Kittle and maybe under-valuing Andrews a bit.

I have discussed the above trade with the DJM/Kittle owner and he says the 2021 2nd is just not enough for him to make up the difference, considering Herbert cost him a 2020 1st rounder. So I think that is a fair point.
New Idea: What if I were to offer the 2021 1st instead of the 2nd, and then ask for another asset coming back from him (Robert Woods would be my target as a depth piece for me for 2020)? Would this package make up for me losing a potential early 2021 1st?

The new offer would look like this:
Give: JuJu / Andrews / Carr / 2021 1st (projected early-mid)
Get: DJM / Kittle / Herbert / Woods

I’d do that with woods coming back, I think he is still a solid asset even if he’s constantly undervalued.
