AJ Brown vs DK Metcalf

Bestball league 12 tm PPR. Was offered AJ Brown for DK Metcalf/RoJo and seriously considering, with my only concern being QB support. Looking to counter that inclds OJ Howard. Should I accept offer as is, or incld Howard?

My counter offer of AJ Brown/OJ Howard for DK/RoJo was accepted.

I prefer DK to Brown straight up, so I would definitely not do this.

I don’t see why you should be paying for the privilege of downgrading from a HoF QB to Tannehill when it’s not even clear you are getting the better player, especially when he came to you with the offer.

DK put up better numbers across the board last year, too, when factoring postseason play. Seems like you are getting played.

It does seem ppl just ignore the post season play....
Tannehill posted crazy numbers in the regular season and showed in the post season why we shouldn't expect that the be the norm.

He wasn't really expected to do anything the first two games. The NE game was poor all around for the Titans passing game, but the Ravens game was really efficient--they just controlled the game without needing to throw.
KC was a respectable effort. They were just against a team that wasn't going to be stopped.
I wouldn't say Tannehill played great but I also wouldn't say the Titans passing attack was "exposed." They are run first, and that does dock Brown a bit, but that was to be expected

What you describe is what I mean. Instead of every game being amazing by Tannehill & Brown (2019 regular season playing together) the norm is probably closer to: some great games, some poor games, and some games where team is so efficient and control the game where they don't need to throw the ball.

I think it is very close. Adding a 2nd to get your guy isn't crazy.

I do expect regression from AJB in 2020, while I expect DK to continue to improve. These two are very close for me, but with AJB being taken top 25 startup and DK more like top 50 I take the value.

Value is there for sure, I’m just personally low on brown compared to the “market” so I’d hold the depth in best ball.
