Move Kittle in middle of startup?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Move Kittle in middle of startup?

Postby EAGLES » Wed Apr 29, 2020 4:32 pm

In an interesting league. 32 teams with 3 copies of each player. Essentially a 10 team league.

2QB 2RB 2WR 2TE 1SuperFlex 5Flex

Yes, we can start up to 3 QBs every week. Must start 2TEs and TEs have a 1.75 PPR.

Received the following offer...
Give: Kittle, 10th
Receive: Chubb, 6th

With this being a must start 2TE and a heavy TE premium, I rejected the above offer.

Wanted to gauge the community’s thoughts on this. What would you have done? Accept? Reject? Counter?

Kittle is a monster in this format. Pass and hold.

I’d hold, and I’d be adding any decent QB1-QB2 and top 10 TE I could with every pick from here on out. Starting 3 QBs would make having extra QBs valuable for byes or trades. I’m sure most the top TEs are gone by now even with 3 copies each, but some of those 6-10 would hold value as well.

You’d think they were, but all are still available except Kittle, Kelce and Andrews. Only 1 copy of Ertz and Engram have been taken. I’m hoping Ertz falls to my next pick in the 5th. Most QBs are gone though, only mediocre ones left.

Any type of 2TE format, especially with 1.75 PPR, the top 3-4 TEs have a huge advantage. No interest in that trade

I’d pick up a Goedert share as well before he’s gone. Everything we liked about Ertz you can see on the field from the younger TE.
Wasteland
12-team, PPR 25 roster 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1(RB/WR/TE), 1 D/ST
QB J. Burrow, A. Richardson
RB J. Taylor, D. Henry, M. Sanders, B. Hall, T. Sermon, C. Patterson, P. Strong, K. Ingram, TDP, D. Achane, K. Miller, R. Johnson
WR AJ Brown, C. Ridley, J. Chase, C. Lamb, JSN, G. Pickens, K. Osborn, J. Meyers, A. Pierce, T. Scott
TE T. Kelce, D. Goedert, G. Dulcich, J. Woods
D/ST MIN, PIT, DEN

Panthers
12-team SF, .5 PPR 35 roster: 1QB, 1SF, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 2FLEX, 2DB, 2LB, 2DL, 1FLEX
QB J. Burrow, A. Richardson, J. Winston, S. Howell

I think I’d go Mahomes Jackson kittle in this format. Rbs and WRs take a massive value hit here even with the 5 flex spots. Id stock up on QBs and TEs early then pick off the remaining wr/RBs.
