Out of curiosity does anyone have their Kevin Costner post note? As "name" no matter what, doesn't have to be a high pick.
If I don't come out of this draft with Jalen Reagor I will actually cry, I should be stoked getting JT or CEH at 1.02 but it's Reagor I can't leave my draft with out. Glad I have 1.02, 1.05, 1.07, 1.08, 1.09.

I feel similarly to Reagor honestly. Lots of talent, but watching him, I'm glad I have some late 1sts/early 2nds. I do want a JT share and Ruggs would be a nice mid to late 1st pick, however if I miss on him, I won't kick myself too much

Way to jinx yourself. Now Philly will be calling up Freeman or something dumb.
Meh. More worried about Boston Scott getting some run.
Philly needs another back. Scott they are obviously high on, though. Can't go into the season with just Sanders and Scott, though. Sanders was always going to be the 1A in the committee they run.
Time to hype up Elijah Holyfield again

That's a tough call, and at 1.08 I may have the same choice, and will probably go JJ. OH, can you post your draft results somewhere? I'd love to see how JJ and Akers fell to 1.11.

Holy bleep is Akers really falling to 1.10? I'm hyped. Late round pick might be worth way more than I initially thought

Seriously? QBs have value, even backups. The Packers made a killing in the 90's under Ron Wolf drafting QBs every year and trading them down the road. It's a good pick and Fromm projects as a quality backup and potential starter, that's a great return for a 5th round pick.
Whilst this is definitely rationale that held 10 or as you say 30 years ago... I'm beginning to think this is becoming slightly less true.

Andy Dalton is a proven winning QB and the Bengals completely botched trading him because no-one was paying up.

Cam Newton, a QB with upside in the right situation and a former #1 overall pick, is walking the streets at age 30.

Jameis Winston, a knucklehead who led the league in passing last year, is also currently out of a job at age 26.

It feels like the QB talent pool has never been deeper and the return on investment isn't as drastic as it once could have been. Heck, Jimmy G was traded for a 2nd, but was also selected for one. Nick Foles was traded for a 4th most recently. The Panthers just signed Teddy B outright and seem fine with starting him over those other previous starters above. Add to all of that: it is well known that one of the current biggest advantages is hitting on a guy in the draft on his rookie contract. The Packers are effectively negating half of that with Love if they go by the same playbook as they did Favre.

I just don't think it's the 90's anymore. If you've got a guy, then you should be showing that you're all in on him.

Clearly the NFL has seen enough to know they don't want them. Most likely Newton and Winston want too much, and want to start. Their personalities also aren't for everyone. It's not surprising. Newton is not the same player as a few years ago, and Winston is the same player (which is the problem)
