Trade wise you could throw OJ for Gronk so that seems like decent value for the Pats. But would it work cap wise? Would Gronk want to lay off the salad? I think he legit loves where he's at in his party/wwe lifestyle. What more does he have to prove?

Yea, he's been very injury prone and a year off probably isn't easy to come back from.

Meh.

He's worth an end of the bench stash, but he's been away from the game for a while. Also, visually he looks like he's lost a ton of weight, Arians led teams don't heavily target TEs, and he would have some of his heaviest competition for targets in years. And it's not like he was lighting the world on fire with Brady back in NE during his final couple seasons.

I feel like even if Gronk did end up in TB, he'd be very hard to rely on, and would just be a blow up game here/there with zero predictability (so pretty much any TE).

I think I'd pick him up for free with the thought that I was gonna trade him if the hype builds. But I wouldn't count on him for my team, and I wouldn't pay anything for him.
