Give Fournette to get Watson?
Team in sig. lost in Wildcard round last year. Team is stacked. Luck retiring was big blow. Stafford getting hurt sunk my season. Watson owner also has Dak and Brees but his RBs are very thin. He’s open to moving Watson in a deal for a RB. He loves Chubb and Kamara but I mentioned Fournette and he is open minded to it.
I have great draft capital so I could draft a QB. I could likely get Burrow at 1.06. I know that’s early in 1QB but in my league QBs typically start going late 1st/early 2nd. He won’t make it to my next pick at 2.02.
So, try to make a deal for Watson or hope to take Burrow?
If Watson, how do you see a swap of Fournette for Watson?

In a 1 QB I wouldn’t even with your abundance of running backs. I would just get QBs in the draft. Stafford won’t get hurt again and is a fine starting QB

I would hold Fournette here even with your RB depth. I think Stafford is a solid QB in a 1 QB league. No reason to overpay here in my opinion.

Just using this site’s rankings, there is a 27 spot difference between the two (19 to 46 for Watson). That’s over two full rounds of startup value. This is what I was thinking too. I don’t think the Watson owner would add a 1st though. Plus it would have to a 2021 1st since he doesn’t have his this year. I may end up just taking Burrow if he’s there at 1.06. Sounds like your league is kind of like mine. It may be 1 qb but qbs seem to have more value and be more important then they should be compared to the consensus. Got get your guy and complete your team. Sometimes trading for value is less important then getting a player that puts you over the top

Yep our leagues are similar in that. Despite it being a 1 QB you can’t wait around to draft them and the big names take a lot to acquire in trade.
