Acquiring Kamara

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

When your assets are Kamara, Mixon, Ekeler, Keenan Allen your team is terrible. ABJ and 1.05 is 3X 1st value. Not sure what you're expecting to get as a return, but i wouldn't pay more than that when i have 1.02 and 1.03.

I inquired about Kamara in one of my leagues where I’d give up Adams+ for Kamara+ and was told I wouldn’t get Kamara alone for Adams+.

Never hurts to offer whatever you want for a player(s). But don’t be surprised when it gets rejected even though a trade calculator told you it was fair. That’s happened to me more than I can count.

I think if I owned Kamara if you came at me with two first round picks and AJB I’d have to at least consider it. If you’re not willing to give up a package like that to acquire him it’s time to stand pat or look for another trade target.
Just my two cents
Qb: Hurts, geno Smith
Rb: JT, Gibbs, Montgomery, Roschon, Z. White, Ty Chandler
Wr: AJB, JJ, Chase, waddle, DK, G Wilson, Palmer
TE: Pitts, Kincaid, Likely, Njoku

It is, as always, league dependent. A pretty conservative owner that owned Kamara sold him this offseason in one of my leagues for 1.05 + Mack + 2021 2nd. Cheaaap, but hey, it’s possible I guess.

I’d start with AJB + Guice + 2nd.
Team 1: 12-team SF 0.5 PPR:
QB: Dak, Russ, Stafford, Geno, Dalton
RB: Harris, Gibson, Chubb, Cohen
WR: DK, Ridley, Kirk, Chark, Woods, C Samuel, Shepard, Reagor
TE: Fant, Knox
Team 2: 14-team PPR SF TEP:
QB: Wilson, Burrow, Geno, Foles
RB: Mixon, Gibson, Hines, Cohen, Pollard
WR: DJM, Cooper, Sutton, Deebo, R. Moore, ARSB, Eskridge, Renfrow
TE: Gesicki, Njoku, Arnold
Team 3: 12-team PPR SF:
QB: Watson, Lawrence, Winston, Cam
RB: Harris, Ekeler, Dobbins
WR: Hill, AJB, Woods, Chark, Lockett
TE: Gesicki, OJH, Firkser
Team 4: 12-team SF TEP Devy
QB: Wilson, Geno, Ryan, Cousins
RB: Zeke, Chubb, Sanders, Pollard, Hines, Cohen, Henderson
WR: Cooper, Godwin, Sutton, JuJu, Samuel, Fuller, Shepard, Campbell
TE: Fant, Gesicki, Ertz, Freiermuth
Devy: Boutte, Young, Slovis, Harris
Team 5: 12-team PPR SF:
QB: Dak, Lance, Jones, Cam
RB: Swift, Sanders, Dobbins, Pollard
WR: Sutton, DJM, Golladay, Chase, Pittman, Kirk, Campbell, Mims, Wallace
TE: Herndon, Gesicki, Freiermuth

I would say a starting point is 2 first equivalent.....so if needs WR.....maybe Evans, AJB and the 1.05

with the 1.02 and the 1.03 you might get him for both of those.....

This sounds right to me, I like the idea of moving Mike Evans. I don’t think Brady will be good thing for him.

Maybe package
AJB or Mike Evans
1.5
Guice (or KJ)
Team 1:
10 team SF, .5 ppr

As others have said, the offer you're considering to send isn't particularly close. It's basically Brown + Kerryon for Kamara + Henry. The secondary pieces really don't add much value as throw-ins.

If you're trying to construct an offer around Brown, I'd try opening with Brown + 1.05 + Hunt for Kamara + 2nd. But if I were the Kamara owner, I'd probably want the 1.02 or 1.03 included instead.

You've got the hyper argumentative dynasty owner shtick down swimmingly  . This poor guy is simply asking for some constructive feedback, my lord.

I agree with having to overpay to get him, if it were me I think AJ 1.05 and 2021 1st has a shot... I would also rather include Sutton than AJB... I’m not sure how you feel about Kerryon but I’m not particularly high and if he doesn’t value picks maybe something along the lines of Kerryon, Sutton, 21 1st sways him..

Ok, I gotchya. Do you have any advice that would be helpful for the trade that is still beneficial to me? I could do Mike Evans or Odell instead. Or I could take out the tight ends. Also, I looked at multiple trade calcualtors, and Dynasty 101 had it as even, and Dynasty process had it as even if I took out tight ends and draft pick. So I think your values might not be quite in line with market value, but dynasty is subjective to I respect that.
The thing is kamara is considered a stud by almost everyone in the dynasty community. Your gonna have to overpay for a stud bc why would the other guy get rid of one if he wasn’t getting over paid? I use the dynasty 101 trade calculator as a starting point but it’s not gospel especially for players in different tiers. If you read the paragraph above the calculator it even says your gonna have to overpay for players in higher tiers. Plus certain leagues value certain positions higher then consensus. Like qbs seem to be way more valuable in my 1QB league then most

If he’s rebuilding I would start with sutton, brown and 1.02. Kamara is probably valued right behind Barkley and mccaffrey in most leagues

I think we’re swinging too far the other way now. Sutton + AJB + 1.02 feels like an overpay and I wouldn’t start with that.

I think you should just table trying to buy him, he’ll be disproportionately expensive compared to his productivity.
