Bigger risk RB

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

D Will took chiefs to promised land and was a stud throughout the playoffs. He was very good when not injured and hes got the trust of Reid

I mean it seemed like he did but KC did go out and sign McCoy after DWills great 2018 , TB didn't bring in anyone after Rojos horrible 2018 though , KC and TB both have to get a RB to replace McCoy and Barber.

You think TB spends a higher pick or more money on a RB to take over for Barber than KC does to take over for McCoy ?

Depending on what KC does in the draft, he could be a top 15 back if he is the starter.

I expect both KC and TB to add RB depth to their current roster, so gimme Williams on the best offense in the league.

Odds are neither are starting for their teams next year, so I wouldn't pay much for either.

DWill could hardly hold the job over McCoy last year...but hard to ignore the upside that offense provides. It wasn't until late in the season when McCoy started wearing down that DWill put up good numbers.
RoJo is almost 6 years younger and in a pass first offense. He is relatively unproven/untested. He will likely get more chances at his age and draft capital.

I'd buy either now for a late second, Dwill for a competitor or RoJo for more long term outlook if he manages to figure it out. After the draft I could see this changing.

DWill has already shown promise while Rojo... not so much. If you go with Rojo you are hoping and praying he pulls a Mark Ingram and turns it around year 3 which is really rare. I say just go with DWill and don't think twice about it.

Didn't DWill have the same thing happen in 2018? A very late season performance that lead everyone to draft him so early in 2019 only to be disappointed. In fact I don't even think DWill really "took off" until the post season in 2018. He did the same thing this year... very disappointing regular season and then took off in the post season.

Honestly I think the Chiefs sign another RB or address the issue in the draft fairly early on. I would go with Rojo and just hope he figures it out. I would say DWill's days in KC as a starter are numbered.

My bet is that Tampa and KC find some sort of back of consequence. If I'm buying either though - I'd much rather take a chance on DWill. I think the ceiling is much higher, and the floor is probably similar to Rojo. Dame is more talented than Rojo and in a better offense. Would prefer that upside.
