CMC for Big Package

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Which side?

The 2020 second better be 2.01, and the 2021 first and second better be projected top 3. The third, fourth and fifth round picks are worthless. If not, it looks like you got 10 dimes for your dollar...
12 Team (2014 Champ, 2016 2nd, 2021 Champ) 1.0 PPR, 1.5 TE, Superflex, Start 9, 1-2 QB, 2-4 RB, 3-4 WR, 1-3 TE

QB - J. Hurts, M. Stafford, K. Cousins
RB - S. Barkley, D. Cook, E. Elliot, T. Pollard, A. Mattison
WR - D. Adams, DK Metcalf, A. Cooper, C. Ridley, R. Anderson, C. Davis, J. Jones

Ten team league makes this a little ugly. How many roster spots, do you have room for all that?

I would of needed a decent 1st in this years class added on and he can take back some of those later picks...super flex helps the trade out tho

So you got a 29 year old qb, who will be a starter, a WR1 who is 25, and a first, Pittsburgh's starting running back and a half dozen picks.

Cooper = 1st
Carr = late first in a SF
2021 1st = a 1st
Conner = a second

And that is a "fairly easy pass" for most of you?

Would 9,000,000,000,000 first be enough for an undersized RB on a bad team with a questionable quarterback?
Team 1: 16 Team
QB's: Fields, Wentz,
RB: D. Harris, D. Montgomery, Kendre M.
WR: Chase, AJ Brown, Aiyuk, Bateman
TE: Waller, J. Woods, Dulich, Mayer

Team 2: 12 Team SF 1ppr, Start 10
QB: Mahomes, Burrow, Watson
RB: Hall, Walker, Javonte, Pacheco, K Mitchell, Dobbins
WR: Godwin, JSN, Pittman, Pickens, Toney, DP Jones, S Moore
TE: Andrews, Fant, Likely
(2024) 1.03, 2.03, 3.03
(2025) Top 3 1st, my 1st

Team 3 SF, TEP, Start 11 ppr
QB: AR, Watson, Young, Levis
RB: ETN, Walker, Pierce, Akers, Pacheco, Herbert, Warren, Kelley
WR: G. Wilson, Higgins, Godwin, Kirk, Bateman, Collins, Doubs, Chark, Shaheed,
TE: Schultz, I Smith, Bellinger, Parham, Fant, Likely, Granson,

Three risky assets and a bunch of crap for top non-QB dynasty asset. Give me the top non-QB dynasty asset every time.

Cooper - Yet to be signed so destination unknown...although likely to be back in Dallas who has QB question marks of their own. Best case scenario is that he is back on Dallas so he can give you 3 game-winning weeks to balance out 13 mediocre ones. Inconsistent as hell. But he is young so that doesn’t matter.

Carr - All QBs have value in a superflex, even 29 year old mediocre ones. “But he is a starter.” Pending the draft and pending their move to LV. I’m sure they won’t be looking to draft a new face of the franchise for the big relocation. I mean they have DEREK CARR! There’s a reason why he doesn’t crack the top 25 QBs. He is replaceable and likely will be replaced sooner than later. Good thing they are moving to LV. Now he’s a little closer to Idaho, so Carr can go hang out with Uncle Rico and Marcus Mariota.

2021 1st - A 1st is a 1st.

The rest of the picks don’t mean much in a 10 team league unless your starting requirements include 15 flex spots.

CMC - Needs no analysis.

So you are basically moving the most consistent plug-and-play non-QB...who is only 23...and put up monster numbers with whoever was under center...

For

A young, contract-less, explosive WR who will lose you twice as many games as he will win you...and a QB3 with no job security and no WRs...and a 2021 1st...and a bunch of fluff. Good luck.

I would start by saying that CMac is a 100% sure fire RB1 elite player. I would not say Carr or Connor are that Superflex or not. The 2021 first is good if it is early, and Cooper is a nice piece to have. The second, third, fourth, and fifth round picks are all big questions and the 3-5th round picks likely hood of being consistently fantasy relevant is very low. I would then say that McCaffreys size (which I disagree is undersized, he's over 200 lbs), the bad team, and questionable QB around him have never been issues so I think that argument is irrelevant

Would I have moved him for that? No. I also don’t think it’s that bad of a package, Cooper is a high end WR2 and Conner, “if” he can stay healthy should put up good numbers for a couple of seasons, at least. Then he’s got some picks to work with.
