Giants coach Tom Coughlin revealed at halftime of Monday night's preseason game that RCB Terrell Thomas is out for the season with a torn ACL.

Meh...just means teams can throw it anywhere they want. It might be a small boost to Phillips and Rolle (tacklers), but I'm not rushing out for A.Ross.

I always thought T.Thomas wasn't very good in real life, but really good in FF since he tackles the guys he lets catch the ball. Maybe I don't watch enough Giants games, since you guys seem to think he was better then I did.

He's a very good tackler and a good cover guy. Teams tend to throw away from Corey Webster. We'll see. Thomas took Ross' job when Ross was hurt and what goes around comes around. I think Ross will see a lot passes thrown his way, but he is finally healthy. He's probably a good IDP pick up in CB required leagues.

You make very good points here. I hadn't considered Core Webster's effect and you're right in saying Ross should get thrown at a ton in comparison to Webster, making A.Ross Terrell Thomas-lite.
