Combine predictions
Not sure if a thread like this exists but I was curious if anyone had any predictions for the upcoming combine.
I stated it in another thread but I think there is a good chance both Dobbins and Taylor out perform Akers.
No chance Ruggs breaks the 40 record, he honestly doesn't look that fast to me.
Reagor will destroy the combine and boost his stock more than any other player.
CEH will perform better than expected and raise his stock as well.
Shenault will get hurt on his first test and miss the rest of the combine.
All anyone will talk about all combine is Jeudy's BMI
and the most important one, all my predictions will be wrong because I don't know what i'm talking about.

Re: Combine predictions
JT will run a 4.40 with a 38 inch vertical and Dobbins will run a 4.52. I also predict Swift will run a 4.53 or so.

Re: Combine predictions
I don't think he breaks the record, but he supposedly hit 24.3 MPH at top speed on this play. That's fast.AussieMate wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 2:55 pm Not sure if a thread like this exists but I was curious if anyone had any predictions for the upcoming combine.

Re: Combine predictions
Jeudy runs 4.3's and people start running over others to get the 1.01 to draft him.
Re: Combine predictions
My prediction, some prospects will plummet and rise based on the combine and people will regret changing their rankings based on this.

Re: Combine predictions
Yeah I probably phrased that wrong, I meant "that fast" as in 4.2 fast, he's obviously really fast as seen in that link. I just don't see the otherworldly speed I always here when watching him.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 3:42 pmI don't think he breaks the record, but he supposedly hit 24.3 MPH at top speed on this play. Re: Combine predictions
JT is the 1.01 after the combine. I don't think he runs sub 4.40, but he will be the fastest of the top 3 RB right now

Re: Combine predictions
The combine will move that top tier of 5 players, to at least 6. Unless it simply swaps a player in the top 5 with someone new. It appears the majority of people have picks 1-5, in one qb, as the "sweet spot". The draft will change that for sure, if the combine does not. Happens every year.

Re: Combine predictions
I'm going to go against that and say Jeudy runs 4.4's, and Reagor run's low 4.3's and moves past Jeudy in ADP, or is at least very close. Reagor shows better speed and athleticism than Lamb and Jeudy, firmly pushing himself in the WR1 consideration. From what I heard from Marcus Mosher, this is the likelihood. Reagor will also jump at least 40 inches, and assert himself as a premier athlete.Cameron Giles wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 4:03 pm Jeudy runs 4.3's and people start running over others to get the 1.01 to draft him.
I am also hearing Higgins may run 4.6. I am hoping this is wrong.
Eno Benjamin runs mid to high 4.5's even after cutting weight to get faster, and drops down boards.

Re: Combine predictions
Thinking 4.45 range but anything under 4.5 and he could go 1.1 depending on location in a lot of drafts.Cameron Giles wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 4:03 pm Jeudy runs 4.3's and people start running over others to get the 1.01 to draft him.

Re: Combine predictions
If JJ runs anything under a 4.42 I think he's easily the 1.1. I have 1.1 and would pick him as fast as I could.Ice wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2020 8:47 amThinking 4.45 range but anything under 4.5 and he could go 1.1 depending on location in a lot of drafts.Cameron Giles wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 4:03 pm Jeudy runs 4.3's and people start running over others to get the 1.01 to draft him.

Re: Combine predictions
I have my doubts about this. I think the combine helps him, if anything. He was a 99th percentile SparQ athlete coming into OSU. The guy had a 43 inch vertical at the time, ran a great 40 etc.
