I'm with most here. The top 5 is in a bit of a different class as the rest of the first round as of now. The price still seems a bit steep if you believe in Montgomery.

I would hold off on this for now. At least until after the draft. Everyone's excited about the top 5 but this class is really deep after that as well and I'd want to see how landing spots shake up the rankings first.

My thoughts on trading Monty and the 1.09 are - am I losing out on a Julioesque player in Lamb or Jeudy just to keep a young Carlos Hyde and Reagor/Shenault/Ruggs? In two years will I have missed out on a team changing player to keep what is likely not a team changing player in Monty and a field stretcher.

No that doesn't move the needle much. You got top 5 rookie fever pretty bad right now and it's understandable. But there are going to be other guys outside of the top 5 to get excited about. Also think it's advisable to give your early/mid 1st round pick from last year a chance before dumping him at a serious discount. He kinda got a raw deal with Chicago's line and the otherwise unexpected dysfunction of their offense. The vote is 15 to 6...
