This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Super flex maiden advice

Postby JungleCatz » Sat Feb 08, 2020 2:00 pm

I’m taking the plunge... how early should I be drafting a QB in super flex? What about a 2nd qb?

Hard to say until you see how the rest of your league values QBs, you kinda have to adjust to the flow of your draft. Sometimes QBs will fly off the board, other times they don't. I usually try to get 2 in the first 4 rounds. All comes down to what slot you're picking from and how fast they go.

If you update us with who is available when you're OTC we can help you as you go! I know people love running startup threads. Lol

Need to just play the draft
If your at 12 and 8 qbs go don’t take one, if your ya 12 and 3 are gone I’d go back to back

In a 16 man superflex I took 2 in first three rounds and it was a real struggle to get two.i was happy with. I'd say in 12 team.it depends on draft but you definitely don't want to be in the forth round with only 1 QB and having them fly off board before you.

But if I get first or second pick.. Do I still grab CMC and Barkley or Mahomes/Jackson ?

I’ll wait and see what pick I get and go from there

I'm in a startup 16tm PPR SF TE prem email draft. First two picks were CMC and Barkley. Then, Patty, Lamar, Watson, and Dak went in that order. I took Wilson at 1.07. I traded back into the 1st at 1.15 to take Murray. He was the next QB off the board. 5 more QBs went in the 2nd round. This is an 16tm SF league so it'll probably be easier to wait alittle in a 12tm, but you never know. I agree with most of the above. Every draft is like a living breathing evolving organism. They each ebb and flow in their own unique way. I'd probably grab one in the first and then play it by ear from there.

Looks like I got number 1.10 and 2.03.... yuck?
Should I consider rookie pick 1.01 in one of these spots or way to early?

Way too early. You should be going QB/QB with both.
